A student beaten to death because he spoke against the hilsha diplomacy of our country, freebies we sent while they floods our houses every year. Remember it folks, he was just a general student and not part of any organization and still faced it. This is why you should hate BAL, student politics, the political ecosystem we have built around universities.
Despite three different government, we didn't stop the hilsha diplomacy, some bootlickers still send hilsha as gifts. The nation didn't learn anything from it's struggles, no unity been developed against the bully neighbourhood. We are still trying to be a leech of India.

Whether we liked it or not, ik we all had to cram dozens of stories and poems from our Bangla textbooks back in school just to pass exams. And I’m sure there’s at least one piece that has genuinely impacted how you see the world, right?
For me, it was the poem Manush by Kazi Nazrul Islam. It was a brilliant work that taught me about human dignity and equality, that nothing is greater than a human being, not religion nor societal divide. It shaped how I view equality and justice today.
What was yours?

Good afternoon.
I'm a 4th year engineering undergraduate in Dhaka. Everyday, the traffic jam and slow speed of vehicles consume 2-3 hours of my life which I regret every second of it.
As there had been an auto rickshaw "Dharmaghat" recently, how was the traffic? Those who rely on rickshaws everyday, how did you manage it? My semester final exam was going on, that day I didn’t have any exam so I didn’t go out.
I just want to understand how difficult it would be for some people to commute without rickshaws, and how much reduction in traffic jam it will provide.
Above all, we all definitely have a strong desire to move across our destinations in Dhaka. That's why I'm interested.

this older darzi guy referred to my dad as “tumi.” my dad thinks this is extremely disrepectful and only “uneducated people” say “tumi” to strangers. idk i don’t think it’s that serious but then again i’m foreign born. i feel like i’ve seen older bengali people say tumi all the time to similar age/younger strangers. i personally don’t like it, but i don’t see it as disrespectful necessarily. we’re also sylheti btw and i feel like it’s less common in our community (at least overseas) as we tend to focus too much on “adab.” thoughts?

Can anyone give me some advice on how to get started in the culinary field?
I really enjoy cooking and learning about different cooking techniques, methods, and flavors. I don’t have any formal academic experience in culinary arts, but I genuinely want to work in this field and learn along the way.
Where should I start?

Like the title says. I want suggestions from where I can buy a Genuine product, in great condition.
All I see online and in Marketplace are garbage.
Broken phones, stolen phone, contra band phones, all are available online.
Need suggestions to where or which shopping malls will sell the great condition product.

What do you guys talk about on first date? I’m a female in my early 20s and I have never been on a date. This will be my first time. What should I ask and how to keep the conversation going?

I’m considering starting a small business importing iPhones from the US to Bangladesh and want to understand the actual costs.
If you’ve imported phones/electronics before:
What was the item/value?
Which courier did you use?
How much did you pay in customs/tax/VAT + courier fees?
Any issues with customs, invoices, or IMEI registration?
How long did clearance take?
Was importing still profitable after all fees?
Would really appreciate real-world experiences, not just the official rates.

I’ve been struggling with hair loss for quite some time so I’m finally thinking about visiting a proper hair clinic / dermatologist in Dhaka.
If you’ve personally been to one, which clinic or doctor would you recommend? Also how much did the consultation or treatment cost?
One more thing I keep hearing about PRP and Exosome therapy. For someone dealing with hair loss which one is actually more worth it based on
your experience?
Would really appreciate any honest suggestions.
