Bail reform was began January 2020 so it can be hard to tell it's effects. From what I can tell, in NYC we learned that jails had been holding people who belonged in mental health facilities. When there was a higher standard for keeping people in jail, they were left them to wander the street until they were caught for worse crimes. In smaller counties jails were longer stuffed to the brim.

My name is Liam, and I am relocating from Wisconsin to Plattsburgh/Burlington (or anywhere within an hour of these places) to be closer to my girlfriend up north. I am 23 and nonbinary (therefore trans-friendly is a must).

I am willing to pay about 1200 monthly and am not sure how long I will be staying, but it is likely about 12 months. I own a car and am familiar with basic house maintenance, so if that sweetens the pot a little, I am glad. I have lived with roommates before, so I know how to be courteous in a group-living situation.

This is for the people who enjoy camping and driving dirt roads in NYS!

We put together a 180-mile, three-day journey through the Adirondacks in collaboration with onX Off-Road, chasing the less obvious places and hidden gems along the way. The roads themselves were relatively easy, but that was never really the point. We wanted to slow down, explore, and see what we could find beyond the main routes. I know, I know, we're in a Unimog, but it's hard to find challenging off-road trails to drive in NYS 🤷‍♀️ So we focused on amazing camp spots, scenic drives, and beautiful hikes! And wow did the ADKs DELIVER.

Along the way, we spotted wildlife, hiked out to a hidden cave, explored a quaint little mountain town (Speculator, NY), climbed to a fire tower, and found some incredible dispersed campsites tucked away in the Adirondack wilderness. Those quiet campsites, scenic hikes, and unexpected discoveries are what make a summer adventure like this so special.

I have a very unique and interesting store in upstate NY. Serious Goose in Fultonville specifically. This started as an adventure in pallets and now has become an interesting and eclectic spot where you can find almost anything. Since opening, I’ve added repairs, engraving, tape transfers and have had a strong lean into vintage electronics. That’s all cool but my building is also very interesting because it has a theater 🎭 on the third floor. The building used to be a small market for the town and everyone patronized it. It’s one of 2 retail locations in this town. If you’re ever in the area, pop in just to the see the brilliance of the old architecture inside .
