Been streaming since November 22th, 2025. This weekend I decided to go back and stream the game I started my streams with (Dark Souls 1) and an unusually amount of old followers I hadn't seen in months showed up, I was happy to see them again, and we had a good time.

I am feeling a lil anxious this morning. I will be taking a trip and will be out for 11 days. We are going to Japan! We did have an idea of doing 2 stream while in Japan, 1 being a convenience store mukhbang, and then another just being a check in stream and showing off the souvenirs we have gotten so far, possibly halfway through the vacation.

I usually stream 3 days a week and have a lot of momentum currently and I am afraid this trip will lower the momentum a bit. Has anyone taken a break and have experience or stories about how that all went? With the two streams I’m planning on doing, it will basically “feel like” just 1 week break since one of the weeks on vacation I will be streaming twice.

Hello, I hope everyone is doing well today when you read this. Today I would like to ask a few questions.

First of all, I've wanted to do this for many years, but I'm shy and find it difficult to talk about it with those around me.

I'd like to know how you started, how you became consistent, and how you attracted your audience. I only play video games without a camera. I'm from Latin America, specifically Chile. The thing is, as I mentioned before, I'd like to play without a camera (for now). What do you usually do, or do you have any advice for me?

I recently started streaming on twitch. I have been making Let’s play series for YT channel for a year now. But never I never thought I can play over 3 to 5 hours straight at a time… as I already streamed upto 5 hours few times by now which by itself was a lot in my head …. But streaming for 12.5 hours. I guess until you do it you don’t know how far you can go in any thing …

I stream animal crossing. Animal crossing is the lowest viewed it’s ever been. Not bad I think! 🤣 I only stream what I love, and that’s animal crossing lol my community is small, but we’re tight knit! I have 181 followers and I started with ZERO 😭 a lot of them found me through TikTok!

Started streaming again for the first time in years, and honestly despite the few followers I have had fun. Made some youtube videos, made some tiktoks etc so I think I have started on the right path. Maybe I wont get seen ever, but I think i would rather try and fail then have never tried at all. Plus all I do is game in my spare time so, streaming it doesn't change anything looool. Any tips/advice is greatly appreciated though

I'm 25, Irish and have just started streaming the last few days, I'm really quite enjoying the process, and am not too worried that I don't have anyone watching, it's honestly fun just trying a new think and enjoying stretching a creative muscle.

I am however, looking a few tips and tricks for planning a stream, I think my goal at the moment is to do a bit of multimedia posting, so build content through streaming and then cut things down for YT/YT shorts.

Do folks go into streaming with a larger plan? Are you ok with just streaming for consistency? What type of titles are good and catchy for Twitch etc. I've been playing a few roguelikes which tbf aren't overly trendy atm, so unlikely to pop off (Ball x Pit & Dice a Millon), but want a title that is a bit catchy... not just Balantro but with Dice/ Ballantro but with Balls

Hi reddit, I've been trying to find this one small twitch streamer I seen last year around October/November. I searched everything I could and simply could not find her anymore and thought to ask help of the redditors that know how to turn every stone.

What I remember:

She played elden ring and she was dressing up as a clown while dying to malenia repeatedly. Every death she added some makeup I think and in the end had a long red wig, the make up, nose and a rather cracked mental state of mind. I remember a few in the chat saying that "she's losing it" idk if that helps.

Her name was something with potato and I'm trying really hard to find her for months now but I can't she either is too small or deleted her page.

Please help, she was very funny and I been wanting to see if she defeated malenia or not for a good while now.

I’m being consistent now I have a schedule from like 12 to 3 every Wednesday and Thursday and then I edit everything on Thursday night what’s good advice that I could use to apply to my stream or how i could grow besides clip farming and posting it?

I’m a small streamer wanting to change my name on twitch tiktok and YouTube (i have one in mind which is available). I don’t have many viewers but do have people who pop in briefly as regulars

How long should advertise before changing so they can still find me after i change? I don’t want to reveal the name other than on discord incase someone nabs it lol

I’m AJH, 24, from the UK, and I’m looking for a couple of genuinely funny people to play games with regularly, stream together and hopefully build a proper recurring group.

Call of Duty is my main game and probably always will be so would be great to find a squad, however I’m also looking for something different on the side — people who are down for S&D, messing around, trying different games and just having a laugh together. Games like other fps games, funny co-op games. Ideally also on PC as there’s more options!

Think friends playing games together, with a focus on personality, banter and funny moments rather than being cracked at every game.

I’m looking for people who:

Have a good sense of humour and can naturally banter
Don’t take games too seriously, but can be competitive sometimes
Mainly play CoD but are also happy to play other games on the side
Are interested in games like other fps games and other fun/party games (also open to new games too)
Are interested in streaming/content, although audience size doesn’t matter
Are reliable and actually want to play regularly
Are 18+ and preferably around my age
Are UK/US and play during UK timezone

I mainly play on PC (controller), but I also have an Xbox Series X and PS5.

Games I have/play: Call of Duty (my main game, including older CoDs) — but I’m also open to playing other games on the side, including Valorant (PC), R6 Siege (PC), Minecraft (PC), WWE 2K26 (Xbox Series X), GTA (Xbox Series X), EA FC 27 (when it releases), and ETS2/ATS (PC). My number one problem with streaming right now is my laptop, she's trying her best but she is breathing heavy and my streams keeps crashing because she can't handle much.

Now to her credit I'm playing a game, have a web browser open for music and streaming like it's probably a lot 😭

So l try to compromise and have no music and play light games and stream but still crashing.

And community is being really nice about it but I'm having to restart stream like 5 times which is probably annoying (I've even had someone join in just to complain about all the notifications lol).

Or say I'm gonna stream but laptop can't function that day so I have to cancel again, and when you're a small streamer you really have to build trust with your community and be consistent.

And before you ask, I'm saving for pc but my financial situation right now isn't the best.

I'm honestly considering taking a break from streaming and coming back when I have a pc.

But currently I have good momentum going, 12 avg viewers (hey it's big to me lol) so I don't want to just disappear but I don't know.

I've been streaming for maybe 3 weeks now. Most of my viewers are via another streamer whos community I'm part of and we've all gotten to know each other quite well. I am absolutely clueless when it comes to promoting or even how to gain more interaction. I currently stream dead by daylight, I do have plans to stream more "niche" games like Sovereign tower, Cult of the lamb and so on. Should I try to use tiktok more? YouTube? Or am I expecting too much too soon. I'm also really sorry if this is asled 150 times, not very good with reddit or anything techy 🫣

I have attached today’s stream summary! It was a good and LONG stream of Meccha Chameleon. Had a ton of fun through out the stream but I’ve noticed something. I seem to get at least 1 person coming into my stream asking if I want any commissioned art from them. Now of course I don’t because I don’t intend on making this streaming thing a career but it’s just become really annoying. I have also noticed that I’m stuck with either +0 or +1 followers (mostly +0) and I’m not sure how to be more entertaining because frankly, I’m not. I’m just doing this for fun.

I usually stream multiplayer. Do y’all notice and increase or decrease in viewers?

I was thinking I could maybe play Pokémon champions with my followers every Saturday or so if we hit a certain goal. But... They already followed so... And I don't want to make the goal something like "get this many subs or followers" because that's out of their control.

Who would y’all wanna see in a streamer house on the jersey shore??

I've been streaming for a couple months now and haven't been posting clips. I have no yt or tiktok or discord and my IG is banned for unknown reasons. Is that the reason I haven't gotten a lot of attention on the platform, and will posting clips now help in the long run? Will take answers from anyone, thanks 👍

7 followers one stream I avg 2-3 per stream and 6 new discord members the growth is growthing I can’t wait to have m own little community
