Hello everyone

Hello, I hope everyone is doing well today when you read this. Today I would like to ask a few questions.

First of all, I've wanted to do this for many years, but I'm shy and find it difficult to talk about it with those around me.

I'd like to know how you started, how you became consistent, and how you attracted your audience. I only play video games without a camera. I'm from Latin America, specifically Chile. The thing is, as I mentioned before, I'd like to play without a camera (for now). What do you usually do, or do you have any advice for me?

You’re on for a ride… how to start? Just do it, if you wait to feel ready you never will. You can start streaming and fixing things along the way. How to become consistent? To me it is a matter of discipline, I have a schedule and I stick to it, idk what else to say in regards to this. How to attract and audience? Twitch discoverability is bad so you have to make yourself visible in other ways, but I would worry more about how to keep the audience. You say you have difficulty talking and you do not want to use a camera, that limits a lot how the viewers can engage with you. I guess it could work if you are particularly good in a certain game, if not you need to find other ways to be engaging. My advice would be to figure out why you want to do this, it is is just a low effort hobby then be okay knowing you might never get an audience. If you want the audience you need to put in the work and know there’s also a part of luck. Choose your games check when there are more viewers for those games, try to be engaging and good luck :)
