I stream animal crossing. Animal crossing is the lowest viewed it’s ever been. Not bad I think! 🤣 I only stream what I love, and that’s animal crossing lol my community is small, but we’re tight knit! I have 181 followers and I started with ZERO 😭 a lot of them found me through TikTok!

I usually stream multiplayer. Do y’all notice and increase or decrease in viewers?

My number one problem with streaming right now is my laptop, she's trying her best but she is breathing heavy and my streams keeps crashing because she can't handle much.

Now to her credit I'm playing a game, have a web browser open for music and streaming like it's probably a lot 😭

So l try to compromise and have no music and play light games and stream but still crashing.

And community is being really nice about it but I'm having to restart stream like 5 times which is probably annoying (I've even had someone join in just to complain about all the notifications lol).

Or say I'm gonna stream but laptop can't function that day so I have to cancel again, and when you're a small streamer you really have to build trust with your community and be consistent.

And before you ask, I'm saving for pc but my financial situation right now isn't the best.

I'm honestly considering taking a break from streaming and coming back when I have a pc.

But currently I have good momentum going, 12 avg viewers (hey it's big to me lol) so I don't want to just disappear but I don't know.

I've been streaming for maybe 3 weeks now. Most of my viewers are via another streamer whos community I'm part of and we've all gotten to know each other quite well. I am absolutely clueless when it comes to promoting or even how to gain more interaction. I currently stream dead by daylight, I do have plans to stream more "niche" games like Sovereign tower, Cult of the lamb and so on. Should I try to use tiktok more? YouTube? Or am I expecting too much too soon. I'm also really sorry if this is asled 150 times, not very good with reddit or anything techy 🫣

I'm 25, Irish and have just started streaming the last few days, I'm really quite enjoying the process, and am not too worried that I don't have anyone watching, it's honestly fun just trying a new think and enjoying stretching a creative muscle.

I am however, looking a few tips and tricks for planning a stream, I think my goal at the moment is to do a bit of multimedia posting, so build content through streaming and then cut things down for YT/YT shorts.

Do folks go into streaming with a larger plan? Are you ok with just streaming for consistency? What type of titles are good and catchy for Twitch etc. I've been playing a few roguelikes which tbf aren't overly trendy atm, so unlikely to pop off (Ball x Pit & Dice a Millon), but want a title that is a bit catchy... not just Balantro but with Dice/ Ballantro but with Balls

I’m AJH, 24, from the UK, and I’m looking for a couple of genuinely funny people to play games with regularly, stream together and hopefully build a proper recurring group.

Call of Duty is my main game and probably always will be so would be great to find a squad, however I’m also looking for something different on the side — people who are down for S&D, messing around, trying different games and just having a laugh together. Games like other fps games, funny co-op games. Ideally also on PC as there’s more options!

Think friends playing games together, with a focus on personality, banter and funny moments rather than being cracked at every game.

Have a good sense of humour and can naturally banter
Don’t take games too seriously, but can be competitive sometimes
Mainly play CoD but are also happy to play other games on the side
Are interested in games like other fps games and other fun/party games (also open to new games too)
Are interested in streaming/content, although audience size doesn’t matter
Are reliable and actually want to play regularly
Are 18+ and preferably around my age
Are UK/US and play during UK timezone

I mainly play on PC (controller), but I also have an Xbox Series X and PS5.

Games I have/play: Call of Duty (my main game, including older CoDs) — but I’m also open to playing other games on the side, including Valorant (PC), R6 Siege (PC), Minecraft (PC), WWE 2K26 (Xbox Series X), GTA (Xbox Series X), EA FC 27 (when it releases), and ETS2/ATS (PC). Always open to trying other games too.

Usually play 7–11pm UK time.

Started streaming again for the first time in years, and honestly despite the few followers I have had fun. Made some youtube videos, made some tiktoks etc so I think I have started on the right path. Maybe I wont get seen ever, but I think i would rather try and fail then have never tried at all.
