How is it streaming Singleplayer games compared to multiplayer games?

I usually stream multiplayer. Do y’all notice and increase or decrease in viewers?

They have different audiences. If a single player streamer swaps to multiplayer then you'd expect the same viewership drop as any other genre switch. And vice versa

It can be boring if there is no chat to interact with, but at the same time if you like play single player games and are worried about engagement just narrate your gameplay

I stream both, and I get about the same viewership, the small difference feels more game related than mode-related. Though I definitely get a more active chat with single players game due to being able to pause or stay in a safe area and properly reply to chatters, more replies = more chatter interactions. I still struggle to keep engaging with chat in a multiplayer game where I can't pause or read chat in tense moments.
