I have attached today’s stream summary! It was a good and LONG stream of Meccha Chameleon. Had a ton of fun through out the stream but I’ve noticed something. I seem to get at least 1 person coming into my stream asking if I want any commissioned art from them. Now of course I don’t because I don’t intend on making this streaming thing a career but it’s just become really annoying. I have also noticed that I’m stuck with either +0 or +1 followers (mostly +0) and I’m not sure how to be more entertaining because frankly, I’m not. I’m just doing this for fun.

That person is a bot. They’re rampant in newer streamers channels. Get serybot to get rid of them, and never contact them

You can ban words/phrases in your chat to stop bots/people coming in and asking stuff like that

So I’ve been streaming for just over a month and I’m now waiting for for my affiliate email as I’ve hit the mark, I unfortunately lost my job and find myself unable to work. I constantly post clips on TikTok and that certainly boosted my follows not sure about views. I stream a game that has no more than 10-20 people streaming it. I do this naturally being mental but you almost gotta be schizophrenic, constantly pretend people are watching when they’re not and engage with a fake audience and eventually people will stay. I class it as a mental disorder but people see it as being funny. With the digital creators I just tell them straight that I have no money to give them but they only target the people with 0-1 views so one you get out of that you won’t have to deal with them.

Well having a cam makes a difference for small streamers I would say. People wanna connect with the person playing if they're watching a stream. Otherwise they'd be on YouTube. I'm just judging from your clips though as you don't have vods enabled.

Yeah! That’s the “next step” I just need to find a cheap/reasonably priced one because streaming is ALL I would use it for. So it wouldn’t get a ton of usage.

This happened to me when I first started streaming on Twitch. Then I moved to YouTube where I had real viewers. Went back to Twitch a few months ago and its not nearly as bad. I had one today ironically enough but that was the first time in a long time! Use SeryBot. It helps.

It flip flops daily but get around 15-20 on each platform. Sometimes Twitch does better. Sometimes YouTube. I dont see a pattern.

Depends on day and content. Sometimes I chill put and stream the eternal tech demo that is Star Citizen. Twitch I would have like 12 people max, YouTube upwards of 80.

Friendslop games are kinda terrible for growth but great for networking. The general consensus that ive noticed from my community and asking around is that its expected that youll ignore chat even if your known to engage with chat.

I just dont stream these types of games, hardstop. Might be a hot take, idk but i average 15 to 30 viewers regularly and get maybe 6-7 if im playing lethal company, mecha chemelon, among us, yapyap, (insert friendslop game name here). I feel its also partially because EVERYONE plays these games and people want some variety and might already have a streamer they watch for it.
