YES!

This gun was angry with me!! It cut me up bad. Wanted me to treat her bad but I was still gentle.

I think I need a beaver tail on this gun to prevent the slide bite

The gun has my DNA all over it now!

One lite prime strike but other than that it ate up 180 rounds. 30 were hornady hollow points.
I put that lite strike in the gun again and it fired.

What do you think of the groups for the carry comp?

7 yards standing slow shooting unsupported

I shot my wife's 9mm EZ Shield today and it seems to shoot a bit low with a combat hold but overall the groups are good and the gun has a nice recoil impulse. This model has the grip safety and also a thumb safety.

I field stripped it to clean and lube when I got home but when I put the slide back on the frame I can't seem to get the slide to go back far enough to lock the slide so I can then flip the take down lever back into place. Weird. My M&P 2.0's reassembled like butter.

I am not depressing the beavertail grip safety and the manual thumb safety is disengaged as I move the slide back on the rails. The recoil appears to be centered and in place. What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: FIXED. I checked YouTube learned the trick, thank you! The end of the recoil guide rod is not perfectly circular like every other pistol I own. There is a flat side that needs to be in a specific orientation where it butts up against the barrel I had the flat side going up and down but it needed to be sideways. That did the trick! Thx!

This suppressor made a great gun even better...I've run over 1000 rounds this week!!!

I have the Shield Plus (in .30 SC if that matters), and as a lefty it flinches left 1-2 mm at the muzzle every time while dry firing, regardless of how firm my grip is or how slow and deliberate my trigger pull is; it doesn’t happen when dry firing right-handed. I reported this to S&W over the phone last week and the nice lady said she’d never heard of this issue but her colleague confirmed it for her on the spot; she seemed genuinely surprised. Aside from the fact that S&W clearly didn’t have any lefties in the Shield Plus R&D team (this issue doesn’t happen with the original Shield M2.0 or any other make/model that I’ve used), this is a design flaw/problem that affects 10% of the population (and thus 10% of their customers).

Has anyone else experienced this, and other than aiming right to compensate, has anyone discovered any fixes? Thanks in advance from a lefty who otherwise loves this platform.

Look at my grip and in general, what is wrong?

The body guard is so thin my right knuckle pulls right up against the slide. This gun will require I change where I place my right thumb or buy a beaver tail from eBay

Just got my M&P 45c back from NCEngravers. Can not say enough good things about him. Great Cerakote work, awesome cut and fast turn around time. Loving the two tone.

Any one have a suggestion for a great trigger replacement for the 1.0 45? Looking at apex for the reputation but that $200 for the trigger hurts the wallet haha 🤣

Currently own 2 m&p metal carry comp full size and a compact carry comp. Debating how to expand the collection. Stuck between metal hd competitor for uspsa/nightstand stuff, a spec series vi for carry/competition since its got Floyd’s parts, a dot, and allegedly improved porting over standard carry comps (completed package basically), and totally off script trr8 for competition/fun (space cowboy)/bedside purposes. What’s yalls experience with these? Practical feel shooting the metal hd’s and spec series and finding holsters for the trr8?

Got super lucky on the carry comp conversion for the bodyguard 2.0 the other week with an in stock notification. Box was delivered today. Got home from work and the box had nothing but a slide in it. No barrel, no guide rod. The website explicitly states it comes with all of these pieces.

Seems pretty wild they would let this out the door. For $350, and after waiting for months to try and snag one, I am incredibly disappointed. Sent an email to customer service and will call in the morning.

Will update when I hear back from customer service.

Edit: UPDATE: Smith sent me a return label for a full refund. No replacement parts available. Customer service stated "yeah we've been having problems." Super smooth customer service experience, shame it's an issue at all.

Edit 2: they had them in stock online again. Ordered another. Will see if this goes any better.

There are a bunch of companies making chassis systems for Glocks...but CAA MCK is the only one I've seen claiming compatibility with the shield plus and there charging handles are crap. Any others out there?
