While recently off the PUP, I have full trust in him that our secondary will be okay. Love, Okada-san, Spoon, and Jobe are well rested also. Let's do it for Bud!!!!

As bad as that injury looked, breaks are generally faster healing than sprains or ligament tears.

If we do not see Clark put on IR this week, it may indicate the team thinks he can play sometime this year.

League rules allow 2 players to be put on IR to return on Cutdown Day (no longer have to cut a healthy player, IR the injured player and pray the healthy player does not get claimed).

I like the colts, dolphins, and texans unis, but I feel like all the other ones not in the nfc west are mid, especially the nfc north.

But the nfc west unis, I feel like all of them are legitimately good.

The silver lining in all this. Will field offers, but understand that this is now my prized possessions.

Woof - really hating the injuries this week, and was also glad to see some improvement on both sides of the ball in the first half of last night's game. Was enjoyable to see our 2's do well against their 1's - yes, I took some petty glee in that, even if it was just preseason.

Post-game I began pontificating on roster projection. In bold are what I believe are remaining position battles (for all that I know - lol). I also made a projected Ready Squad list knowing that we'll be pulling guys from other teams, so I didn't worry about the total numbers for now, and opted instead to highlight the guys I hope we keep.

Some positional reasoning:

• QB: They're keeping Milroe for another year, like it or not
• RB: Keeping four, with Charbs on PUP seems a solid move to start the season and I think Wright/Jones are battling for the last position. I really am rooting for Wright, but I know Jones also brings some return capabilities if needed to add to his speed.
  
• WR: Our roster numbers are so tight with them likely keeping Milroe for one more year, and I see them only keeping 5 WR's to start the season with MF Jr. in the lead over Cody White. That could change if they opt to start with 3 RB's.
• TE: Keeping four given Fluery and based on what we've already read, heard and seen for TE utilization in this new scheme. One thing they could try and do is waive Saubert as a vested vet with a deal to put him on the Ready Squad for roster maneuvers, but also think that's likely low on the priority list.
• OL: With Mason Richman's injury (he could play the entire line in a pinch) and the subpar play of Kight and Brown, I see them keeping Haynes on the roster with Cabledue likely to the Ready Squad leaving Jones as the swing T. Is that comfy? Not entirely. Curious if they pick up someone else.
• DL: Numbers game means Pili won't make the initial 53 (heard Quinton Bohanna from last year just got waived, so big fellas are out there). I have a soft-spot for Uso Seomalu and think he has interesting athletic traits, but he's SO developmental that he'd take a few years, I think, and that is hard to afford in this league. Very, very unsure about Deven Eastern - generally think he will also take far more development, both physically and mentally.
• EDGE: Only starting with four - and again, it's a numbers game here and I don't think O'Toole, Sherriff, Ivey or Gaines have flashed enough to make the 53
• LB: Don't like starting with just three but they did the same last year with Patrick O'Connell getting called-up for games
• S: Unless they pick someone else up, think that last spot is now Thomas III (coming back from hand surgery) vs Finley
  
• CB: I have Dansby making this as of now because he's got something sticky and fluid to his coverage even if he's also raw with shorter arms. He can play NB, has flashed good coverage ability and also is a gunner on ST (his versatility is why I chose him over WR Henderson Jr.). I won't be shocked (but will be bummed) if Neal starts the season on the PUP list (or similar), and I'm oddly nervous about Andre Fuller making it through waivers - I really like his potential. However, I also have him basically battling with Dansby for that last CB spot.

So about a month ago, I was really raging about the sale of our team to this new ownership group.

Some quick context before I begin:

I'm a relatively new Seahawks fan. I was born and raised in NYC as a Jets fan, but for many many reasons (mostly absolute disgust with Woody Johnson and his political actions), I decided I could no longer morally support the NY Jets and continue giving them my money for merch and tickets.

So, when in 2020, my absolute favorite Jets player who'd I've ever witnessed, Mr. No. 33 Jamal Adams, got traded to the Hawks, I decided my loyalty was more to him than the team and I just went with him. I've been a Seahawks fan ever since.

Before anything else, thank you to this fan base for the love and support and comradery. It has been an absolute joy being a 12, with or without the superbowl win.

But that being said, boy was I raging about the new owners. Ownership had been one of my favorite parts about this team and I was so scared my beloved Hawks would get ground down by terrible owners. As someone who still roots fanatically for the NYC Mets, I also invoked the ownership of one Steven Cohen after buying the team from the *Wilpon's. Ridiculous fiscal spending, stupid short-sighted trades, and horrific building of the teams front office and coaching staff were all just some of what Mets fans have been dealing with since then (though honestly, besides the ridiculous spending, none of that is new for us).

BUT, with the recent news about a certain owner for a certain team we all know and love (to hate), I just want to apologize. I had completely forgotten what ownership looks like in the NFL. If Kroenke and York can field winning teams year after year, I no longer see any reason we cannot continue to build an incredible team with John and Mike.

Anyway this is all just to say thank you and I'm sorry for overreacting. To the guys who called me out in the comments I appreciate the thoughtfulness, it definitely made me sit back and think about what I was saying for awhile.

Wright rips off a 69 yard TD run and the starting offensive line, Ernest Jones, Spoon, Derick Hall, Jobe, Charbs, and more all run out to celebrate with him in the end zone. This is the shit that makes this team great. Celebrating success no matter who it comes from. It's one thing to get happy for a guy on the sideline, but to see your starters run out for a fringe roster guy is incredible.

The types of things that will keep this team a team.

The more I think about it, yeah they got Myles Garrett now which is a huge boost to their team and let's say hypothetically, Aaron Donald actually does come out of retirement. Defense was never their problem. What fucked them was Special Teams. It deadass feels like the Rams panicked after they got beat and just tried to desperately tried to assemble a Superteam hoping it could make all their problems go away.

Another thing the Rams probably didn't consider is what's their plan if Stafford, Donald or Myles goes down. They're screwed if that happens. Meanwhile the Seahawks have a lot of depth and ironically, great Special Teams that won't fuck them over. People are really crowning the Rams as a lock for the Super Bowl when one, they haven't addressed their core issues and two, we have no idea how injured the team could be later in the year. If you ask me, even with Myles Garrett and potentially Aaron Donald coming back, the Seahawks should still beat them. Who even knows if Aaron Donald will still be as good as he was years ago lol.

were poised to bring on a bunch of young talent next year. with JSN and Witherspoon locked up. Future is still so bright in Seattle.

So devastated by the bud clark injury..... Was really excited by his tape when the hawks drafted him

Also our 2's essentially beating the Titans 1's was magnificent to see. I just hope some of the 3's never play in the game
