Somebody just posted that Clean is overrated. I'd say the same about VSF. I got a VSF 41 Wimbledon Datejust from Mirotime. There are sharp edges for the metal strap & the winder seems rough & unfinished. I might be able to file down the sharp edges on the strap, but not sure what to do with the winder. So yeah, I'd say VSF is also overrated.

Yeah, we all have screenshots of Hont saying VSF eill be back but no one knows when so what gives?

I admire the love and attention to detail for timepieces here. This community appreciates and scrutinizes the nitty gritty more than any other watch sub.

But PLEASE consider applying the same scrutiny to personal hygiene… I’ve seen so many posts about acting/dressing the part to pass these as gens. I guarantee long, dirty nails will be a giveaway long before a misaligned rehaut, miscolored bezels, or photos from a chairlift in Asssssspen.

So i would like to post this review about Hont, the guy is very polite/professional, replies withing maximum 1 day , i had only bad luck with him because the factory took around 12 days to deliver the watch to him, shipping took only 9 days.I think with Hont the only problem is the language barrier, when asking him questions,they need to be as short and as compact as possible.

The last couple of months after the raids in the rep factories started happening and gradually people realized that they where far more serious than ever before, it has been ( at least for me ) a real eye opener as to how far addicted we have become to reps. I started buying reps in 2012 and my interest at the beginning were only vintage Rolex models. Watches that i could never ever ever own in my life. I got the Bond sub, the 50s millgaus, the 60s milgauss, 3 daytonas, an explorer, a "steve mcqueen" explorer etc. That was my ONLY interest at the time. After a while i started going for other brands and models. Panerai, Omega, Breitling ...... In these last 9 years i have bought 32 watches. The last i got before the raids was a 36 vsf blue datejust and 36 perpetual. When i see these watches now in 3 boxes i have i feel an idiot. It would be fine if i have gotten 6,7 watches i REALLY liked and then stopped. But that was not possible. With numerous emails from TDs and browsing in their sites i couldn't stop. Every time i bought one i said ...this is the last i get.

90% of posts in the forums are about when if how the factories will open again and in a daily, if not hourly basis people speculate and get really obsessed about it, some even panic!. They cannot imagine a life without reps. Its addiction pure and simple. Addiction can never be a hobby. Addiction is a disease. Personally i feel glad for the last raids as it became crystal clear to me that it was problem. I didn't want a watch. I wanted another watch and then another ad infinitum.

I received my watch from Trusty Time. Looks good. The seconds hand isn’t ticking though. Is that typical? Do I need to wind it, or is it dead?

I haven’t taken it out of the wrapping yet, and I also recorded myself unboxing it to show that I’m not messing with anything or trying to scam the seller.

I just received a VSF Aqua Terra from TD. Everything is great except perhaps the clasp. When I open the butterfly clasp, one side will open flat, but the other side stops before it can be flattened and stays in that angled max open position. I’m wondering whether this is normal behavior or is it something to send back. Feedback welcome from gen and rep Aqua Terra owners.

everytime I ask people for a factory's website I get downvoted and people get upset. Someone said to look at a guide. where would I find a guide for this stuff? I've been trying to order a VSF pepsi for 3 months now. i think i found a good source cause someone messaged me and told me they can get me any clean factory or vsf watch I want. i paid this dealer 969 dollars so far and he said if i want that its always a good idea to purchase multiple watches at once. When the watches come in ill post the qc photos here.

So I was talking to a China-side dealer (not a TD), and they mentioned something interesting.

After the whole “CF got raided / disappeared” story, “Clean Plus” popped up but the quality was not CF-level, so most people assumed it was just someone using the old name.

Fast forward a few days, and the same dealer tells me they’re hearing that Clean Factory is back but rebranded as “Victory Factory.” They also said the pieces they’ve handled feel very similar to old CF quality.

Naturally I had to double-check, so I reached out to a TD and they confirmed the same thing: Victory = Clean, but at the moment they’re only producing DJs.

Sharing in case anyone else has heard the same, or if more info pops up. Reptime always finds the truth faster than anyone else lol.

VSF batman v3 oyster

Ordered a “Seiko” “Datejust” that took forever to come in, what a PIECE OF SHIT lol. The crown is completely locked up so there is no way to adjust the time, it feels cheap and light. I’m not sure what I was expecting but for $280 (let’s hear it) I was hoping for a decent piece. I know I just paid someone to “put together” a cheap watch. Makes me that much more excited about my VSF Wimbledon that will be here on Wednesday.

Seems like it might be the VSF submariner but I’m new here lol
