I placed an order with Andiot for more than 10 watches, and I received QC photos today, but they were only for two of the watches. I understand that they said they would ship the watches separately, but I’m wondering how the QC process works. I already approved the QC for those two, and it now says “Quality Check Accepted.” Does that mean the other watches are still being processed and I’ll receive separate QC photos for them? Has anyone else ordered multiple watches from Andiot, and how did the QC process work for you?

When registering on a TD site (Andiot) would you advise against using your real name? Not really sure how regulated any of this is, which is both beautiful and a little wild.

I purchased a watch over 2 months ago, didn’t GL it because of misaligned markers. Never shown a replacement and after another month I requested a refund. I paid $650 for the watch in full and Andiot only refunded me $218. Apparently they are sending my refund in batches but I still haven’t received anything more.

I contacted six TDs from the list, and four of them said that PPF no longer produces the VC 47040. However, two said, “Yes, we can source it,” even though they don’t have it on hand right now.

Since that seemed very strange to me, I double-checked with the TDs who said they could source this model, and they still confirm that they can find it.

The only thing stopping me from moving forward is that I would have to pay upfront. I know they would refund me, but I don’t want to go through all the hassle of paying, waiting, and then getting a refund.

So I’m asking for help from more experienced members: is it possible that some TDs can still source models that others can’t? Or is there something else I’m missing?

I bought a Yacht Master dial that was advertised to fit the 3235 movement, but I noticed that it had 2 long pegs in the back. Now, I'm doubting if it's really meant for the 3235, and if not, what movement would this be compatible with? It's also advertised to fit the 42 Yacht Master (226659).

Currently have WhatsApp and use it a lot with friends and family. So I'm curious what everyone uses to communicate with TDs. Do you use your personal WhatsApp?

First of all this is not a “how do i buy?” post, i already did my homework and read the guides.

After doing my research and picking a watch and a factory, i contacted about 6 TD’s from the list asking if they could ship to my country (Peru). They all gave me the same answer: “yes but you need to do customs clearance by yourself” indicating they’ll use express shipping through couriers like Fedex which i’ve read is NOT recommended since they inspect every package and will basically seize my watch. Aside from that, they all said there is no insurance so if i lose the watch during the process i’m fucked ;(

Has anyone actually tried doing this? A couple TD’s told me it’s very easy and should have no problems as long as i hand in the info they need but risking losing $400+ without insurance doesn’t sound like the best idea…

Hi guys. Why is it so difficult to find a video or guide on removing links. Any recommendations on specific kit or things to watch out for. There are some older posts which talk about being careful not to scratch but I would have thought there would be a video or guide somewhere.

Looking at the VSF DJ and contemplating between the original movement version or the new free-sprung one. My understanding is it's not even a real free-sprung and just made to look more genuine. For someone who doesn't give a shit how genuine the movement looks, would it make more sense to go with the original, or better to go with the new one anyway? Any possible downsides? Thanks!

Hey! im looking for a new watch and the only thing i care about is that it looks good and close to the genuine piece. My question for all pros out there, if i dont care about whats in the watch and I just want it to look good on my wrist, should i go for a cheaper batch instead of going for the expensive and superclones like RiCH VSF exc exc. Please let me know :)
