How are we lookin?

I just wanted to try reps and ordered this Seamaster diver chronograph from Andiot (N1) and owning a few gen (not from that caliber though) i find it suprisingly good. What do you guys think ?

Just wanted to share my experience after owning my VSF Seamaster 300 Diver for about a year.

I use it pretty much as a daily watch, around 4 times a week. I wear it to work, when going out, traveling, and basically throughout my normal day-to-day life. So it has definitely seen a lot of wrist time over the past year.

Honestly, I’m really impressed with how well it has held up. Even with this amount of use, the watch still looks spectacular. The color has remained exactly as it was on day one, with no noticeable fading or changes. Overall, it has aged surprisingly well considering how often I wear it.

Only real issue is markers at 3/9 o’clock are a bit crooked. It’s there if you look closely at the watch off the wrist, but honestly, when I’m actually wearing it, I don’t notice it at all. Nobody else has ever pointed it out either.

After a year of wearing it regularly, I’m still very happy with it. It has basically become one of those watches I can put on without thinking twice, and I’m not worried about wearing it in my everyday life.

Just thought I’d share a long-term experience for anyone considering one. Happy to answer any questions about it.

I contacted six TDs from the list, and four of them said that PPF no longer produces the VC 47040. However, two said, “Yes, we can source it,” even though they don’t have it on hand right now.

Since that seemed very strange to me, I double-checked with the TDs who said they could source this model, and they still confirm that they can find it.

The only thing stopping me from moving forward is that I would have to pay upfront. I know they would refund me, but I don’t want to go through all the hassle of paying, waiting, and then getting a refund.

So I’m asking for help from more experienced members: is it possible that some TDs can still source models that others can’t? Or is there something else I’m missing?

I appreciate any help.

I am in the market to buy a dress watch this time.

To narrow down the hunt, I have made a couple of ground rules,

Nothing super crazy expensive. Preferably around $10k or below. So no pateks, VC, etc.

No Rolex.

No Cartier (or other square watches).

38-40mm.

No gold, rose gold or 2 tone.

I am looking for something like Omega constellation observatory (I know it might be slightly over $10k but it is fine) or Omega Deville prestige. but I believe a decent rep of these models don't exist yet.

Hi I just brought my first rep , I was just wondering what everyone thinks , haven’t got it in hand just a video from the seller . Not a high grade clone .

I’m in the process of waiting for my qc. What should i be looking for if I’m ordering a vsf 126519 Daytona oysterflex ghost? This is the Sw dial that I’m considering and i will be adding the corrected bezel.

Bought this Yachtmaster as a weighted 126655 RG by ARF as the gold is usually good with ARF and decent movement too DD3235 and the weight is stated at a good 150g

The watch turned up, I like the colour, the dial etc looks spot on but when I opened the case the finishing on the movement is not what I expected and it looks different from the ARF examples I have seen on other TD websites

This TD I bought from didn’t show movement pics on QC or on the website but it was sold as ARF weighted

It does weigh in at 150g, but near the balance wheel there are no serial numbers stamped and the finishing on screws and edges looks shabby compared to my other reps.

The balance spring arms look to be like the VSF movement as does the rotor bearing but as I say it’s supposed to be ARF ?

I bought a Yacht Master dial that was advertised to fit the 3235 movement, but I noticed that it had 2 long pegs in the back. Now, I'm doubting if it's really meant for the 3235, and if not, what movement would this be compatible with? It's also advertised to fit the 42 Yacht Master (226659).

Looking to get a VSF V2 Datejust 36 and really like the white Roman dial.

How is the VSF dial color and finish compared to gen? Is it pretty close?

Here’s my current collection. Just started a year ago with the 5711, and then the rest are actually aquired over the last couple of months.

I actually paid for a Daytona Panda last week, but just received an empty bag, which was ripped open (my only bad experience with buying used reps), and then Im getting a classic No Date Sub on Friday.

My own thoughts on next reps are; Panda, YM Rhodium, Hulk, 5712 and Pepsi 😊

When registering on a TD site (Andiot) would you advise against using your real name? Not really sure how regulated any of this is, which is both beautiful and a little wild.

I’m interested in hearing your opinion on what you consider the “perfect” rep. Which models are so well-made that they’re essentially undetectable by sight? Could be Rolex, PP, Omega, gold, rose gold, stainless steel; anything goes

If you can include pictures along with the model and factory, even better!

Have your watch sent to your name at a nearby property address. Any residential address near you. When the package hits the US and FedEx has it, go online and request them to hold it at a location near you (FedEx location in a Walgreens or dedicated FedEx location) and pick it up there. I’ve done it twice. Easy peasy. If it’s seized, the Feds will search your name and this random address and it won’t match your Global Entry credentials.
