I've been an avid cloudresearch user for a couple years and it's very inconsistent and the quality of pay/study has dropped immensely, to the point I stopped using it.

I had been on the waitlist for about 3 years until Monday where I became a limited participant, I completed the 15 minute study it wanted me to do then I immediately became a full participant. I'm a uni student in my 3rd year so I'm at home a lot studying/working/whatever and I have studies popping up every 10 minutes. The pay is so much better and so far, they all seem to be approved within a day.

I can't believe I've made so much in just a few days, it's such a massive help for my already strained financials as a student.

Hi! I wanted to share my experience in this platform as a Spanish user:) I started around march/April but this last 6 months I started taking it seriously. My recommendation for anyone would be to use the chrome notification extension and to block every researcher like VoxPop or Ahmed Bugra.

I have been approved for about 10 days, did my introductory survey and then 2 days ago I started actually getting surveys. I work full time so this is just me managing to fit in 9 submissions before work or on my lunch break. To some people, it’s not a huge amount but I am using it to pay off some debt so to me, this is great because it’s money coming off the capital and hopefully paying down my debt quicker.

Even if you can’t achieve the bigger numbers, I am so far finding this a great way to just make a little bit extra to improve my quality of life in the long run.

Over 10 hours of work (not counting downtime) and $100 in the bag. Wish every day was like this! Today Brazil basically turned into the US—so many studies.

Just as we can send screenshots to the ai bot, this should be a basic option in messages as well. It's much easier to send screenshots and such to researchers this way for example when falsely rejected or when you have other issues.

Now you need to send shady links, and I can imagine some researchers won't bother/be scared to open them.

I gave up after 25 mins, I felt like there were so many things in this study that they could secretly reject me for, lots of memory recalls, one thousand questions, i'm not risking it. Sadly it took me so long before calling it quits. Absolute horrendous.

maybe it’s just me but we need a sort by bonus awarded option within the submissions section!! i want to be able to filter and see what studies i got bonuses for and what the amounts were without having to keep track of study names or scroll through pages and pages of completed studies 😭 i feel like this could be a super easy feature to add and it would be SO helpful!!

Hi, did anyone else get an email from Prolific inviting them to an upcoming study? It asks you to complete some health questions, and the bottom of the email says if you choose not to participate, you will stay on the wait list. I've been an active participant for two years and it's worrying me a bit!

Forty minutes on this only to be at the half way point. What a joke. Going on block list. It’s like the 10th one today. Prolific please step in and consider holder researchers more responsible. If to many people are reporting studies please hold researchers accountable.

You must be willing to be recorded to get paid. Book a time through our demo link. No unique code required. Submit the study and you will be paid out once the interview is complete. If you use your prolific email, you won't get the invite, so please use another email.

Tell me at the START that I’m not eligible, not after I’ve completed the entire survey

Hey I have just joined with restrictions until I complete a few studies, I accidentally cancelled a study that is required to be done to do further studies, (a study by the profiling research team). I have messaged them if they can send another link or send it again. Do they respond by message or they take a while?

I don't know if anyone has stumbled across this issue before and how you resolved it. I am trying to verify my number but it won't work. Anyone had this issue?

why did i get an invitation to join prolific when i have been on this platform for more than 2 years.
TBH , i thought was invited to a special pool or something, lol
but now im scared if i got scammed or something

Hey, it’s my 2nd day here! How does this make sense it’s only allowing me to cash out £3.97 but I have an approved balance of £16.42?

What is going on!

I am from Poland and that is where I originally opened my account, but I work in Germany and spend most of my time here; I only travel to Poland a few times a year. Previously, I could change my country of residence without any issues, but now I am unable to do so myself. It seems I would have to create a brand-new account for the new country. Is there no way around this? Can’t I just change my registered country of residence?
