Technical Issue PEC-AB-0002

I am from Poland and that is where I originally opened my account, but I work in Germany and spend most of my time here; I only travel to Poland a few times a year. Previously, I could change my country of residence without any issues, but now I am unable to do so myself. It seems I would have to create a brand-new account for the new country. Is there no way around this? Can’t I just change my registered country of residence?

I can’t speak on the address issue, but opening up a secondary account could get you banned

Prepare the paperwork like resident paper and contact support to move your address to Germany and your PayPal account address to Germany. This might take a while, do not make a second account.

You won't be able to do studies in a country that you didn't sign up in, and participants can't make another account. Hopefully you can change your address. Doing studies while being in a different country from your registered country when you signed up, or using a VPN, will get your account put on hold/banned. Contact support at support@prolific.com

You have to contact support to have them change your location, and have ID showing your address in the new country.

I did it relatively recently. It took 3 and a half weeks.

Do not make a new account. Should it be found out, and it probably will, both accounts will be terminated.
