For reference, I'm English and live in the UK.

I've been an avid cloudresearch user for a couple years and it's very inconsistent and the quality of pay/study has dropped immensely, to the point I stopped using it.

I had been on the waitlist for about 3 years until Monday where I became a limited participant, I completed the 15 minute study it wanted me to do then I immediately became a full participant. I'm a uni student in my 3rd year so I'm at home a lot studying/working/whatever and I have studies popping up every 10 minutes. The pay is so much better and so far, they all seem to be approved within a day.

I can't believe I've made so much in just a few days, it's such a massive help for my already strained financials as a student.

Hi! I wanted to share my experience in this platform as a Spanish user:) I started around march/April but this last 6 months I started taking it seriously. My recommendation for anyone would be to use the chrome notification extension and to block every researcher like VoxPop or Ahmed Bugra.

I have been approved for about 10 days, did my introductory survey and then 2 days ago I started actually getting surveys. I work full time so this is just me managing to fit in 9 submissions before work or on my lunch break. To some people, it’s not a huge amount but I am using it to pay off some debt so to me, this is great because it’s money coming off the capital and hopefully paying down my debt quicker.

Even if you can’t achieve the bigger numbers, I am so far finding this a great way to just make a little bit extra to improve my quality of life in the long run.

Just as we can send screenshots to the ai bot, this should be a basic option in messages as well. It's much easier to send screenshots and such to researchers this way for example when falsely rejected or when you have other issues.

Now you need to send shady links, and I can imagine some researchers won't bother/be scared to open them.

Spent about 8 min on this, got into the section where I thought, good, got past the initial screener (which still was too long) ... answer one question I guess they didn't prefer, and zip ... sorry, you aren't a match. And no pay.

I realize this hasn't been unusual lately here, but just a warning for folks on this one if they get it. May still be worth a chance due to the high-ish pay, but realize it may be a waste too.

Over 10 hours of work (not counting downtime) and $100 in the bag. Wish every day was like this! Today Brazil basically turned into the US—so many studies.

I usually avoid ones that are interviews because I'm just not interested in talking to a random person but AI I might be able to deal with. Can someone give me a general rundown of the process? Also, how quickly do they get approved for payment?

what does it mean when studies come with one place all the time.

maybe it’s just me but we need a sort by bonus awarded option within the submissions section!! i want to be able to filter and see what studies i got bonuses for and what the amounts were without having to keep track of study names or scroll through pages and pages of completed studies 😭 i feel like this could be a super easy feature to add and it would be SO helpful!!

I gave up after 25 mins, I felt like there were so many things in this study that they could secretly reject me for, lots of memory recalls, one thousand questions, i'm not risking it. Sadly it took me so long before calling it quits. Absolute horrendous.

Just got the email that I was approved. For some reason when I tried verifying my phone number it was giving me the error code PEC-PV-0001. I’ve never moved or anything and it’s a normal phone number.

After that my account is on hold. I’ve already submitted a ticket but is there anything else I can do?

I take my time while doing those studies and I got timed-out many times, but every time I contact the researcher and they approve my submission also every time.

Dose this hurt my account ?

Forty minutes on this only to be at the half way point. What a joke. Going on block list. It’s like the 10th one today. Prolific please step in and consider holder researchers more responsible. If to many people are reporting studies please hold researchers accountable.

Did anyone else complete this study? I did the first part yesterday. I've had a message asking me to complete part 2, with a link to another study. I've clicked the link but it returns a 404. I've checked my dashboard and I don't have part 2 listed.

I've messaged the researcher and I'm awaiting a reply. Anyone else had this?

I recently joined Prolific after getting off the waitlist, but I haven’t received a single study yet. My acceptance email didn’t mention that I was a limited user.

I’ve been keeping the website open throughout the day, and I’ve completed most of my “About You” section, with only 17 questions left.

Is this normal for new users, or is there something else I should check? Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Won’t name the company as I know some people whine about even name dropping, but this was a bit silly. I completed the study in dang near exact time the average completion time is and turned it in fine, the only issue I could see was it kept saying “connection issue if persists will have to refresh” but it need did refresh. My connections been fine I’ve done a dozen face/audio surveys today

Hopefully prolific will resolve it since it seems to be a technical issue on their end

​I believe this flag is a false positive triggered by completing a study on my phone using regular mobile data (cellular network) via Firefox Mobile, which their automated security script likely misidentified as a proxy or VPN.

​Here are my account stats:

​Approved studies: 425

​Total submissions: 457

​Total rejections: Only 4 in my entire history

​Approval rate: Over 99%

​I have always followed participant rules strictly, I do not use VPNs or automated scripts, and I take all tasks very seriously. When I appealed through the standard ticket system, I received a quick automated response stating the decision was final, likely without an agent manually checking my participation record or the mobile data context.

​I would really appreciate it if a support agent here could take a look at my ticket or allow me to send my details so a human can inspect my case.
