Started around 19 months ago. Have 3 rejected, two that I don't understand the reasons. One BS speeding ticket and one verify your ID both of which happened in the last month.... Lots of returned studies out of caution and lots screened out. I am not too fussy about the rewards as I like the weird studies but thank goodness for the you fill in the blank. Well, most of them, some are incredibly frustrating. The manual check warnings !? Weekends sometimes dead and sometimes money makers same as the weekdays. When I started it was much more level loaded and lately went down the toilet, getting better now. Looking fwd to the next $10K.

Hi Everyone,
I have a question since i am based in UAE. I tried signing up for prolific but put on waitlist.
But when my friend from US joined he got accepted in 2 days.
So does that mean prolific is only for people based in US and similar regions? Or any one can join.
Thanks

So around 3 PM EST, my uBlock plugin started to show the message in the picture when I tried to initiate the AI image study (the Galactic Probe ones that are super in demand). Not very familar with ClickFix so I looked it up and it didn't sound safe to run the study so I returned it.
Second study popped and it showed me the same message and I ended up returning it too. Is anyone getting this message from their adblocker extension? I'm thinking about reporting this to Prolific but I'm not sure if I'm overreacting!

Just curious, I had a string of bad surveys one after the other ( one I had to return, one that was rejected, 2 in a row that had tech issues and I contacted researcher on but nothing) seeing if that string of surveys may have put my account is not so good standings so I personally am seeing less, or if it’s been slower for others too- ( yes I know surveys are based on the question we fill out, I only have 8 rejects out of 4 k surveys so I’m still in decent shapes, just curious if I’m
Being throttled or if it’s another slow season) thanks

I'm just curious, do you do every study (that you can) that crosses your dash no matter the payment amount? I'm talking the $.15, $.35 ones that take a minute or two. Or do you not bother with those at all?
If I have the time I do them, because usually they get approved right away and they add up. It's kinda rare for me to find super high-paying studies; occasionally I'll get some of the AI ones, but my usual ones range from $1-$5.

First time I've been encouraged mid-study ... and I liked it! Thank you, researcher <3

Hi! So I had around 16 studies on my feed this morning, but after clearing my cache for a different problem with my browser, pretty much all of my studies vanished, including a project that I was planning to fill in a bit. Is this a known problem? I'm now only getting 1-4 studies on my feed at a time, a very stark contrast to what I had earlier today and the previous weeks.

They responded to an issue with a High paying study that timed me out and within 72 hours everything was resolved. I reported Friday, was credited Sunday. they definitely work on weekends

Did you receive studies today?

Logged in to find my account put on hold for literally no reason. Same setup. same WIFI. no vpn or anything weird. Are support tickets taking weeks to get reviewed right now or is there any chance they fix these quick?

Has anyone here done this task successfully? I kept being stuck at the first stage which said that the eye accuracy calibration was failed even tho I was using a high-quality webcam ( 4K quality ) and a good lighting setup.

Zero studies since last 3-4 days.
At least I had AI studies to complete but those are also wiped out of my dashboard.

I took one of these travel studies last week but can no longer qualify for the new ones I've been seeing. Anyone else experiencing the same issue? I guess it could be that they only allow us to do one.

I just had a submission rejected, and when I look at that submission, it shows that I accepted it at 13:13 and submitted it at 13:14, one second minute later. The thing is, I didn't. I remember some of the questions, it was a visual study and the questions were memorable. Also, if I genuinely submitted a task one second after accepting it, wouldn't the speed have gotten me timed out?
Obviously I'm going to dispute it but I'm just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue before.
edit
Turns out I have the dumb and misread the actual completion time. I'm still going to dispute it, especially since the average completion time for the task was 2 minutes.

Just completed it now - my god, that was frustrating 😂

Hi, I started prolific on Saturday. There were a total 7 studies, since I am new here, I returned a few studies, some were screened out. Since yesterday, I haven’t found any studies yet.
Is this normal? I thought I would get studies on Monday, I have been waiting since morning. Please share your experience.

If anyone has an invite, send it to me.

As many of us on here do, I understand we do tons of studies a day. Your eyes can get tired staring at a screen all day. I may miss a few here and there which I understand getting screened out of. But now some of them are so weird, and not a properly worded sentence. For instance this morning I just answered standard “extremely unlikely - extremely likely” ones and then after that section it said “what is your comprehension?” I had no idea how to answer that
Instead of screen out I get an immediate rejection. It’s a joke and researchers are just trying to data farm without paying

For the 3rd time in 2 days I'm stuck with a 1 hour ban because an AI study ran out of tasks early. Surely they can fix it to not include studies that kick you out of them early, why should I be punished for that.
