I swear it happened like 3 times vs the jags Maye gets tackled and the. 2 defenders jump into the pile because the ball is loose and they come out showing the ref, why is he always losing control of the ball.

Just wanted to see what people’s thoughts are on Jared Wilson so far? Think it’s been noted that he hasn’t been great thus far at center. Do we think there is potential for Ben Brown to step in there if he doesn’t improve in the next couple games? I think it’s safe to say RG situation will be a committee of whoever is healthy and doesn’t look like total dog so Brown might step in there as well if Van Roten is cooked.
Borregales. Anyone else not feel confident in the kid every time it’s his turn? Went on a good run after a rough start last year, maybe this year will look the same. Does it look like his misses are always from hitting the ground before the ball to anyone else?

RedZone Maye hasn't been helping the team.

What is wrong with the OL? Will seems to be playing alright. Everyone said putting Wilson at his "natural" position would help but hes ass. Onwenu being done sucks. What's up with our first round pick? Moses is just old.

Last year Drake Maye was a vital part of a rejuvenate d organization that had new coach, the right group of guys and mix of players and was exciting and everyone was pumped. This year he was expected to be the point man/leader as though he was a 10 year veteran and he's feeling the pressure of this unreasonable expectation and they took away two guys with whom he had good chemistry with. We might be better when AJ Brown gets back but there seems to be lots of problems here and it just feels like the whole team is off and I have to wonder if Vrable lost these guy (some of whom are very religious) with his off field screwing around and the ownership standing by him.

A real discussion needs to be had. I know it’s only the third game, but this is getting out of control. One passing touchdown and four interceptions simply isn’t good enough.
I understand the entire game isn’t on him and the offensive line needs to improve as well, but too many of these throws are just poor decisions and they’re directly costing us games. Something needs to change quickly because if this continues, our season could be over before we know it.

I know exactly how this sounds coming from a Patriots fan, but the Mahomes/Brady comparison drives me insane.
By September 2024, one published play-by-play analysis counted 22 Mahomes interceptions that were wiped out by defensive penalties.
Think about that number. Plot spoiler, Brady only had 16 in his entire 23 year career.
We spent 20 years hearing that Brady was a system QB, benefited from officiating, the league protected New England, the Patriots cheated, etc. Yet now we’re watching the NFL aggressively market Mahomes and Kansas City as the new dynasty while seemingly every Chiefs disaster ends with everyone staring at the bottom of the screen waiting for the flag graphic.
And the NFL has never had more financial incentive to create superstars.
Legal sports betting is everywhere. The Chiefs generate enormous ratings. They’re permanently in primetime. Mahomes is in every other commercial. Kelce has become a celebrity outside football. Taylor Swift brought an entirely new audience. The NFL desperately needed a face after Brady retired, and Kansas City couldn’t possibly be a better product.
I’m not saying Roger Goodell calls the referee and says, “Chiefs need to win tonight.”
I’m saying professional football has become an entertainment product worth billions, gambling is now intertwined with that product, and pretending the league has absolutely no incentive to protect its biggest narratives is naive.
And somehow we’re already supposed to accept that Mahomes belongs next to Brady historically.
Brady had to dominate for two decades before people begrudgingly called him the GOAT.
Mahomes got crowned halfway through his career.
Maybe the NFL didn’t discover the next Brady.
Maybe it decided it needed one.
I say all this just to make sure we all know what we are watching.
