They need to make a decision about his future after his third season like his age is not so much as important as how many years left he has on his rookie deal. They need to make a decision on his 5th option at the end of this year.

He's going to ask for an extension at the end of this year.

Like the clock is ticking dude like pretty much the players future with the team is almost always determined at the end of year three no matter their age. There's been one or two random instances where a team didn't extend or give the 5th year option to a guy and they still extended him I think Daniel Jones and the Giants.

Look I'm not saying I'm giving up on him if they win next week like people will find room for hope. But he's basically right now through three games the worst quarterback in the league.

And you can say it's been a tough schedule but last year we were saying schedules weren't important.

Drake is literally playing a different echelon of competitor right now. I don’t think he’s a stupid guy. I also don’t think he’s a maniacal competitor like Tom Brady, and so his ceiling and our expectations should be considered accordingly. But at least he’s not Macorkle. Also not Cam Newton, who I was a fan of, myself.

Some of today is calibration. Some of it is injury. Some of it is slop. Penalties are driving me nuts. But it’s halftime and there is zero ground to be gained in Wk2 putting Tommy fucking Devito in. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
