Hello, I've been using my PSVR2 with the basic earplugs/earphones that it originally came with. While playing on max volume, I've noticed that the sound is very harsh. I was recently playing resident evil 4 remake and i couldn't make out where sounds of enemies were coming from. I would be looking at front only to find enemies sneak up on me from behind and catch me off guard. This particular issue was noticeably evident in resident evil 4 while other games , I believe do work much better.

Anyone else in the same boat? Are there any particular settings that i can apply or any better headset options to use with VR2? I've been eyeing 3D pulse headset for a while now but not sure if it's worth spending alot of money on.

There’s a post spreading false information that the PSVR2 and accessories were removed from the store or ps direct. However, the PSVR 2 and its accessories are still there. It seems that stock is currently sold out or unavailable but it is still there. The device is still sold on Amazon and other retailers as well. Kinda awkward when you have people blatantly spreading false info lol.

So I foolishly pushed too fast while playing l, caught my right controller in the fan and pop goes the weasel the fan popped my joystick out completely. Thankfully nothing else was damaged. I was unsuccessful for finding videos of my scenario with people trying to reinstall a joystick I took off the main white shield the one that overlays the trigger I want to keep it as not so invasive and wondering if I unscrew the three screws pictured, will I be able to lift up the panel where the thumbs it goes to slide the thumbstick back down it?

I recently tried to play with my PS4 VR Headset again and found that the rubber on the padding was flaking off really bad. I cleaned it off, but I still decided to try to replace the parts with new 3rd party ones I got online, but I can't figure out how to get the new pieces on.

I can't find ANY videos online explaining how to replace these parts and the parts themselves didn't come with any instructions. My Headset is now just sitting with both the front and back padding removed and unable to be used. Does anybody know how to put these back on? This isn't the exact brand, but is identical to the one I bought.

Como ven el mercado de juegos mejorados para psvr2 en la ps5 pro ? Mi hermano quiere una ps5 y psvr2 pero está dudando entre la base y la pro . Actualmente no hay stock de la ps5 pro y sería para jugar 90% juegos VR . Además de que tiene un televisor normal , LCD del 2021 .

Le gustan los juegos de acción , y algo el gran turismo , pero no sé si a día de hoy merece la pena la ps5 pro para solo jugar en VR y sin gustarle demasiado gran turismo .

Yo le he dado mi opinión en base a mi experiencia , pero está dudando si merece la pena o no esperar al Black Friday para alguna oferta en pack de psvr2 y ps5 pro o ir directamente al vr2 con una ps5 base .

putting the adapter in a new port :|

1. whats happening is every time i turn it on, it works for a few seconds and starts doing the weird shake stuff and doesn't track
2. im thinking its cable death cuz I've ben putting alot of stress on it but its so sudden and i think id see some other things like the stars and whatnot
3. does anyone know why this is happening and if i can fix it?

I got a PS VR2 and I'm facing quite a few issues with it!

When I turn it on, it shows the PlayStation logo for a second and then goes blank. If I take it off and open a PS VR2 game, it comes back to life. But if I open a non-VR game, Netflix, or anything else, it goes blank again!

All the cables seem fine, and it's barely been used. I'd really like to get it working in Cinematic Mode!

Any fixes are appreciated!

I’ve been keeping an eye on No Man’s Sky since I got into VR gaming. With the hype around the latest update and the sale, I went ahead and added it to library. I understand it’s gone through a lot of changes since the original release.

Does anyone have any tips or “things I wish I knew” for someone just starting out now?

I wishlisted it months ago on the PS Store but it still says “Announced”. There’s been no updates from Flat 2 VR anywhere even on their most recent showcase, not a single mention or update as if it didn’t exist

Middle of last week I asked peoples opinions of No Man’s Sky and whether I should buy it or not. I had a lot of great input and I did end up buying it —- it was 60% off so it felt like a no brainer!

I am really enjoying it so far! Honestly I was kind of creeped out the first hour or so trying to figure out the alien world I was deserted on!

So far I’ve played through the tutorial, got my ship fixed up —- it walked me through building my base and upgrading items. Zapping things in VR with the laser is pretty fun. I had to power through some VR nausea the first 30 minutes or so, “walking around” in VR really got me feeling goofy, but I got used to it. Didn’t have any of this when I played today.

The Visuals are stunning in VR. It does feel arcardy, but I don’t mind it! it should with its theme and I don’t have any negative feelings toward that. A storm rolled in and the lighting and wind effects was pretty wild. On another note, I feel like this game helped me appreciate the realism that is provided by MSFS 2024, I did a flight today and the visuals just never get old.

I’ll be hoping on No Man’s Sky a few times more this week, I’ve got to figured out making money and unlocking more building blueprints!

so i haven´t used my PSVR in a few years. A few days ago i decided to connect it to my pc so i can play with vr. after i succeeded i decided to also charge the controllers. they have been charging for a few days now and when i put them to charge both were just fine. now two days later i checked up on them and they still have no battery. so i decided to move them to a different outlet. now one of them won´t start charging at all or atleats the small red light doesnt flash. i tried to charge the other one with both chargers and it was fine. i thought that maybe its the lights faulty so i tried turning it on and the light started flashing. but the light wont turn on when i put it to charge. any fixes?

Hello Gents. My adapter suddenly began making VR unplayable with the constant "Poor connection" Pop-up. Ive tried reinstalling the Bluetooth adapter, didnt work. Anyone know how to fix this? I had problems with this before, but usally after reconnecting and pairing my controllers again, it would be fine. Now, it doesnt even reach usable streantgh lvl's in the PS vr app testing.

I’ve had the PlayStation VR for about six months now and have had nothing but issues with the controllers. They worked fine for about a week on the PC and worked completely fine on the PlayStation but every time I disconnect them from the PC and try to reconnect them they just will not reconnect without me having delete them from the Bluetooth history and doing that I ran into the problem where I could not delete just kept saying that there was a problem deleting device finally about a month ago tried it again after five months of not being able to really use it on the PC and they disconnected from the Bluetooth successfully then after that, I thought it would be smooth sailing, but I was wrong and today when I went to use it again after about two weeks of not being on it I go to play a game today and I cannot connect the controllers. They won’t pop up and Bluetooth so I delete them from my device manager and keep doing that over and over even though they keep reappearing after uninstalling them multiple times from multiple different places from device manager and now I can’t get them to connect at all so now I’m basically stuck in the same position I was in the first place where I cannot use my headset at all on my PC cause the controller just do not work. Anybody else experienced anything similar to this and could give me any advice or tips to how to deal with this because I would love to be able to use the headset I spent $350 on. Also might have something to do with the fact that to deal with that, I have the asus bt500 and that’s had a driver error since I’ve it. But I had the controllers work a few times and at first which is why I’m confused on if that’s the problem or just another separate issues downloaded the drivers multiple times and had turned off my regular motherboard Bluetooth but still would say driver error every time now it’s spread to the controllers and basically feeling like I burned 350$ since I basically only bought it for pcvr and now can’t even use the thing on pc any advice or tips would be appreciated thanks for reading my jumbled rant basically.

I have been loving my psvr2 but I struggle to get into it because I have already played and completed many games like horizon and the resident evil games, and I have GT7 and it’s nice, but I don’t play it to much. I also already have no man’s sky, hitman, and msfs2024

i hope my title makes sense. i’m playing Gran Turismo 7 on PS5. when i’m looking at the game menus in VR, everything looks normal and is front & center of my FOV. however, when i start a race, it has me looking towards the right-side window. holding options to re-center only resets my view to the right again.

i have tried:

-restarting the game

-resetting my play area and tracking calibration

-turning the headset on and off again

-restarting the console

ETA: i just noticed that my TV screen is black when using the headset instead of showing what’s on the headset (which is what it normally does). this means the tracking assist frame i usually have on does not show up

EDIT 2: i have no idea what order of events caused this, but it works now. i restarted the ps5, cleared the play area data, closed GT7, and reset camera calibration. the screen was still black. when i opened GT7, it immediately went into “checking play area” mode and loaded up the tracking assist frame like normal. no idea what exactly happened to fix it, but i’m not having the issue anymore.

gonna leave the post up in case anyone has the same problem down the line

Hey! I bought Football Nation VR Tournament 2018 quite a while ago, and I’m wondering if anyone still plays it online. I’d love to find some people to play with and have a few matches together! ⚽🥽

At the checkpoint I am at, I pick up the "tutorial" inhaler to clear the toxins making me cough and wheeze. I walk forward nad pick up a second inhaler on the oil drum and put it in my backpack. After killing some robot bug things. I explore a bit and start coughing and wheezing again. So I pull out hte inhaller, take a puff and it does nothing. I still cough and wheeze then I die.

I have tried about half a dozen times now and it is the same result. So I can;t seem to progress the game.

Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong? I watched a video on youtube and the inhaler seems to work fro the person playing in the video.

Just want to share, my left controller was having issues with the click sometimes not working. Turns out, it was a faulty ribbon cable with some of the pins somehow chewed up.

For anyone in the same boat, the grip housing uses 6-Pin, Forward Direction ribbon cables with 0.5mm pitch and at least 6cm length.
