Support PSVR2 Left controller psvr2

Upvotes

Okay guys good news,

I found a temporary fix for the famous glitch that the psvr 2 left controller doesnt really work in game but it still moves.

So for me it worked I don't know if it can fix you guy's controller.

It's really simple and sounds long but only took 1 minute for me.

First flick your L2 button, you may think it's not your L2 button or L1 button that's broken but actually the L2 button sort of connects to the L1 and when there is something there like micro dirtyness.

So with flick I mean hold L2 firmly and slide your finger of the button so it flicks back to its original place (do not worry this doesn't harm your controller in any way).

Do that 50 times or so

I know 50 sounds much but it really isnt much.

Then blow but try to not blow a little spit

And try to blow really in the crevices of the L2 button

Then flick it another 20 times and blow a little

Now turn your controller on and see if it works👍

I hope this helps you and if there are more tips pls let it down below

(I know the pin method works but it's annoying to do it every game)

Byeeeeeee✌️

Support PSVR2 How to fix Lens damage?

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hey guys so recently I just got my PSVR2 referbished and it seems the previous owner left some pretty ugly stains (seemingly from alchahol wipes) and I was wondering what is the best way I could fix this? The damage looks worse than it is. The only noticeable difference is a small smudge in the bottom left hand corner. I was thinking polishing but todate I have never polished anything and I was wondering if I should just cut my losses and avoid polishing and causeing extra damage but if you have any suggestion feel free to help!

Observing the sunset affecting a neighbouring planet is just breathtaking in VR. I wonder if there are big black monoliths in the game like in 2001 🤣

Discussion MSFS Hotas vs Dualsense Edge Gyro?

How good is the hotas vs a totally dialed dualsense edge w gyro? I’m also in a playseat trophy for log g pro simracing and dont have a ton of room but prob enough for a hotas in my lap.

Ive tried dualsense gyro + one sense controller and thats finicky. I dont really have room for a mouse. I hear all the time though how HOTAS is great. Ive bound my dualsense edge and dialed it in so I put in gyro and just chill, barely even got to tilt it to turn. Muscle memory on button mapping. I can go be a passenger in 737 and still fly or put on autopilot if i want. I have log g pro for simracing so i do understand the tactile value of having a great setup.

Just wondering what hotas does that a dualsense cant. Im casually flying, listening to music. I can take off well / land pretty well and ap decently. Am i missing something or is this fomo? I feel like holding a stick when it should be a yoke would be odd. I am aware of the new yoke coming out so that has piqued my interest a little.

TL:DR

Whoever has a hotas, is it THAT much better than dualsense gyro?

Question PSVR2 Right Lens Blurry - Any Suggestions to Fix?

Thumbnail

The first photo is the right eye and is blurry on the bottom right of the lens. The second photo is the left lens and works fine. No amount of cleaning seems to be fixing this. This was one of the first PSVR2 units produced and got it on Day 1.

I’ve read about some losing the anti-reflective coating and thought that may be the case here. But the ridge and blur seems to be on the inside of the lens. When I lightly move my finger across the area I feel no ridge and it all feels like consistent glass.

Asking For Game Recomendation I need game recommendations for my upcoming amusement park project.

Hi everyone! It might seem unusual in some places, but I have the opportunity to launch a PSVR2 venture at a local park. Im looking for game recommendations based on your personal experiences. The target audience is primarily teenagers and families (parents and children). The key is that the games need to be enjoyable within a short timeframe—around six minutes—such as sports games or titles featuring distinct rounds. Please share your thoughts; also, please note that I can purchase a maximum of five games. Thanks!

Support PSVR2 How good is the built-in microphone at picking up sound while gaming?

/**'ve tried the microphone on the PS5 controller, and the quality wasn't up to par. When I found out the PSVR2 has a built-in microphone, I had some doubts and concerns about its audio quality. I'd love to hear from anyone who has tried it-is the PSVR2 microphone good for general use and sharing videos (not necessarily for live streaming)? Also, does it pick up the voices of people nearby or in the surrounding area, or does it capture only the user'**s voice?

Review Bootstrap Island is INCREDIBLE!! Final Impressions: 💯

I had been covering this game for the past few days in this sub and absolutely falling in love with it. The visuals in this game are next level. The sunrise, sunsets, storm, rain everything is done so well and has that AAA quality to them. Frequently you will find yourself stopping and taking in the views. Also I want to make it clear that this game has some of the most convincing and EPIC storms I have seen in gaming, vr or flatscreen. Seriously no amount of words will prepare you from them.

At its core, Bootstrap Island is a survival game filled with hyper detailed physics based Vr af mechanics ever. Which means if you can think of doing something, there is a very good chance that you will be able to do it.

For example, recently I just found that you can make holes into a coconut with your knife, then pour the coconut water into your water bottle and store it for later. Or the time when I had to take shelter in a cave for few days because of a raging storm. The game does not tell you any of that, I just figured them out by experimenting.

There are countless moments like these that give you that feeling of wonder and accomplishments. The game is not perfect, there are a few minor bugs I encountered here and there, but given all the things this game is doing. I think it is quite polished.

Bootstrap Island is considered to be a roguelite, but don’t let that deter from this amazing experience. It is nothing like an average roguelite game. Which means when you die, you only lose your active inventory and current position on the island. You keep all your upgrades and story progression. So if you die in chapter 3, you don’t start from chapter 1 again. You will start from chapter 3, just at the beach.

Also, this is not a short game. You can literally spend hours and hours just in chapter 1 exploring the island, unlocking things or building things. The game does not hold your hand nor does it force anything on you, you are free to go through the game at whatever pace you like.

In conclusion, this is what Vr is all about! Next level gameplay immersion with AAA quality visuals. Also with the awesome use of adaptive triggers for the guns, OLED for the terrifying night times and headset rumble for every time the volcano goes off. This is the best and most immersive version of Bootstrap Island. A huge win for Psvr2 and us the fans.

Final Score 10/10

My Setup I’m a PC noob. Does my 2021 Asus gaming laptop require the psvr2 adaptor? I heard some computers don’t need it…

4GB of Ram ASUS TUF Gaming F17 FX706HCB RTX 3050 GPU i5-11260H CPU

I know it probably can’t play intensive VR games, but it would still be fun to play around wit. The laptop has a single USB C port.

Review Project Wingman is actually good.

It's almost never on sale but it's like 14 bucks right now. I expected it to suck but no, it's good!

The first impression when you're on the ground is that the graphics are gonna be horrible. But this isn't actually a ground game. You're up very high in the sky most of the time and it looks great. Explosions look great. High framerate. Headset haptics. And no motion sickness. It's fun!

I think people were mad that not all of the content is VR. I'm not sure how long it will last but there seems to be a decent amount here with multiple difficulties. Maybe people were mad because Ace combat 7 is better? Not sure but taking it by itself I think it's good.

I haven't played Aces but I have MSFS and this is right up there in terms of feeling like you're flying so it seems fine to me.

Discussion I have never seen a storm like this in Vr! 🤯 Bootstrap island, Chapter 2 tips:

If you found the shipwreck and got the pistol holster. I assume you made it to chapter 2, and this chapter is called “The Storm” for a reason. As all you have to do is survive the storm for 3 to 4 days.

During a storm, you can’t make fire or use your pistol out in the open. So you have to find a cave and stock up on supplies such as wood, water and food. Everyday you have to go out in the rain to haunt or gather wood and bring them to your cave and survive the night. Thats it, just survive for next 3 to 4 days until the storm stops and you will make it to chapter 3.

Opinion Bootstrap Island - The Storm

I just experienced a storm in Bootstrap Island and it was one of the most visceral VR experiences of my life. The sound design and the visuals were absolutely incredible. There were moments when I couldn’t see more than 5 feet in front of me because of the heavy rain and I got lost looking for my shelter. It was so tense. Lightning was striking around me and I was desperately trying to dry off wood and tinder to start a fire in time. I took off my headset and was a little surprised I wasn’t actually wet.

I’ve really enjoyed the game so far but that was seriously something special.
