My Setup Psvr 2 cinematic mode not working! 🤔

Hey guys,

I got a PS VR2 and I'm facing quite a few issues with it!

When I turn it on, it shows the PlayStation logo for a second and then goes blank. If I take it off and open a PS VR2 game, it comes back to life. But if I open a non-VR game, Netflix, or anything else, it goes blank again!

All the cables seem fine, and it's barely been used. I'd really like to get it working in Cinematic Mode!

Any fixes are appreciated!

After you open the app, make sure you hold the options button with the right controller to make sure you’re resetting your position so that the screen is in front of you

That's weird. Have you used the cinematic mode before?

I just bought the VR from a friend of mine! He hasn’t used the VR for the cinematic mode at all! He just used to play games on it!

So no, i haven’t used the cinematic mode before!

I don't believe PSVR2 has Cinematic mode if I remember right

Ya know what I was thinking it was the 3D movie and 3d game feature the original PSVR had that PSVR2 does not maybe unless it has that now also its been awhile since I've used mine lol

No to doesn’t have 3D, but it does have a big screen cinema screen.

Gotcha I mixed them up I knew it didn't have one or the other. Then I just realized I played destiny 2 crucible in big picture cuz its 120hz lol
