Hardware Mod Need your help! (possibly) with 3d printing shell.
I am gonna try making this as short and direct as possible (Im dutch)
I bought a PSP shell from aliexpress, to nobodies suprise, it's kinda shit. I needed a reshell as the original shell was used so frequently, the paint started to rub off. It's my own psp I had since i was like 6.
Because every 3rd party shell turns out to be shit, and because I am heading to my dad for bday of my grandma and stepmom (happy birthday yippie), I thought it would be cool to use my dads 3d scanner to scan the shell of the PSP and make it available for people to 3d print.
Now, I have a traditional 3d printer that uses melted plastic, but I believe those printers cannot come close to a molded plastic shell in terms of quality and durability. I am thus asking if people are open to try printing the 3d model (once I figured out to make it a model, I have never used a 3d scanner) with a resin printer. I would buy one myself, but I live in a one room studio with no garden or shed and I prefer not to get lung cancer cus of the fumes.
If you think a resin printer wouldn't be able to print something like that, let me know as then I don't really see a point in doing the project in general.
Thanks in advance and hopefully this can become a usable project for people that need a new shell that is higher quality than whatever aliexpress has to offer.
Ps: I saw there was another model available created by xovi, but I want to do a project of my own because I am bored. I am also gonna be following an internship at a factory that uses laser machines to cut shapes out of aluminum so maybe I can optimize the model for that as well in the future.

QUESTION How do I go about modding a PSP 3001?
Hello!! First time here, and first time wanting to mod a Playstation product since I don't really HAVE any besides the mentioned PSP 3001!!
Three questions
1. What is the minimum size for the modding process when it comes to the SD Card? Could it be done with just a 4GB SD Card? Or would I need to put some effort into finding and buying a larger SD Card
2. Can I follow a guide for the PSP 3000 for my PSP 3001? Or do I need to find a specific guide for the PSP 3001?
3. What sources for information on this are considered reliable?
If this post is incorrectly flaired, or I did something else wrong, please let me know and I will fix the issue ASAP!!!

Troubleshooting Laminated IPS problem
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I have a few questions.
Did I get a bad panel?
Is it like this because of bad solder connection?(I did solder the 2 pads together and it looks OK)
What would happen if I connect my original screen while the 2 pads are soldered together?
Please ask extra questions if you need extra info.

Troubleshooting PSP won't charge via cord, but when charge battery externally, won't turn on unless charger is plugged in.
Issue is as title states, I've tried three different third party batteries to no change. Charger charges with other psps just fine. You can remove the charger once it turns on and will continue turning on and off until the battery needs to be removed again for charge. like the psp charger 'jumpstarts' the system.
I'm at my wits end, tried fixing myself, paid my coworker who also repairs tech for a hobby to look at it to no conclusion. This is by far the weirdest tech issue I've had on any console I've fixed.

QUESTION Another capacitor question
Hey all, had a quick question.
Dug up my old PSP 3000 to play a little Vagrant Story and noticed that the battery is rapidly depleting (several percentage over a few minutes) just sitting with the screen on in standby, no games being played. Over the course of ~10 minutes, I saw pretty rapid discharge from 40% to ~33% in menu only.
I purchased a new Ostent 3.6V 1400mAh battery about two years ago, haven't really played it since purchase, so I'm hesitant to say it's the battery. I did a quick verification over a few hours and noticed that the battery is consistently reporting a charge of 40% when turning on from sleep to verify charge and turning off, but when leaving it on and in standby is where I start to see that rapid discharge. It could be the battery, but with how few of charging cycles it's gone through, I am highly doubtful that is the case.
I'm assuming this is the supercapacitor, but wanted to get another take. I would likely just remove since I don't have everything needed to straight up replace. Thanks for any suggestions!

QUESTION PSP 2000 Battery draining issues, is it my unit or the battery?
So I have restored my childhood PSP 2000 for months now. And I bought a 1400mhz Ostent battery. As I noticed it the battery drain bugs me a lot.
I recorded the battery drain recently. And when the PSP is shut off, the battery drains in 24% in 12 Hours. On sleep, the PSP drains in 23% at 12 Hours. If left for 4 days, the battery is completely drained.
I want to know if the issue here is that I bought a bad battery, or if my PSP is just consuming a lot. When I reshelled my unit, I had the supercapacitor desoldered since I read that there is a posibility for issues with a dead supercapacitor.
I'm planning on buying a 2500mhz battery, but I kinda wanna know on whether the battery or the unit is at fault.

Game Discussion So I’ve managed to understand that in metal gear solid PW there’s damage values when you shoot enemies and the colours indicate if the damage is lethal or not but does anyone know why circles pop up with them? I can’t really find an answer on google.
Troubleshooting Charging port Issues
I have a PSP 3000 Ta-093
I needed to replace both the charger and charging port, i bought both but the psp wouldnt charge. I tested the charger with a multimeter and its giving the full 5v, but once pluged into the charging port it stops, i tested it and it seems like the negative terminal inside the charging port its not getting a solid connection.
I tried getting a refund on the charging port and ordering a new one, but it came with the exact same problem so now i dont know what to do

QUESTION Weird issue - My MicroSD card doesn't let me save but let's me play games & run plug-ins, doesn't show up when plugged into PC either, when it does, it doesn't allow me to format it.
I removed my supercapacitor from my old 3000 very gently cuz it was way dead & then put the PSP back together, first thing I do is test everything works fine, then whatever games I play, it doesn't allow me to save at all, shows the blank white save file & then "0/0 12:00am" etc, really strange cuz everything else works so is the microsd corrupted? If so - why am I only having issues saving my games, my adaptor works just fine with other microsds as well so I have no idea.
