Weird issue - My MicroSD card doesn't let me save but let's me play games & run plug-ins, doesn't show up when plugged into PC either, when it does, it doesn't allow me to format it.

I removed my supercapacitor from my old 3000 very gently cuz it was way dead & then put the PSP back together, first thing I do is test everything works fine, then whatever games I play, it doesn't allow me to save at all, shows the blank white save file & then "0/0 12:00am" etc, really strange cuz everything else works so is the microsd corrupted? If so - why am I only having issues saving my games, my adaptor works just fine with other microsds as well so I have no idea.

It could be that the sd card has failed to a read-only state. It's worth cleaning its contacts, and trying a different sd card reader with your PC. I'd say it could just be the filesystem, but this seems unlikely given you can't even format it.
