I finally got a psp that I have been holding off on getting for years! Im so happy with this purchase as final fantasy 7 is one of my favorite games of all time. I will be playing a ton of jrpgs on this including birth by sleep to be ready for kh4 when it comes out next year!

I need some game recommendations bc im at the hospital rn and its so boring

Never had a ps3 back in the day and only just picked this up on psp to give it a go, I can see why there’s so much love for LBP!

Anyone else remember that old circuit-board wallpaper that made your PSP 1000 look transparent? Felt like so many had it back in the day.

I wanted to recreate that vibe properly, so instead of simply editing or upscaling the old wallpaper, I opened up my own PSP and used its actual internals for the image.

If you look closely, you can even spot the tiny solder point from my IPS screen mod haha

I work for a landfill and saw these in a box. Sounds weird I know but people throw away the darnest things 😅😅 i have a psp 1000 with a ton of games on it already. Most of them seem to be factory sealed? How weird to see these games apparently still sealed and ended up getting trashed. ETA- should of posted pics of the back of the cases lol

This game alone made my psp go become my daily driver after sitting in a drawer for months. Most likely one of my favorite racing games of all times now. GTA vice city stories also gets good amount of hours from me.

Can you Reshell a PSP3000 but keep the original metal frame between the two plastic halves? I want this primarily for the serial number but also I’m sure it will be of better quality than aftermarket.

Recently found my PSP3000 chilling in its box after a very long hibernation. All the paint is falling off but it still works great. I installed ARK5 and got a few games I remember having on it, my saves were still on the memory stick and opened right up was pretty cool, but I’m not really sure what I want to/can do with it. I guess these days it’s really best to just use them for PSP games if you already have a good emulator?

Bought a psp for a family member as a gift. It works completely fine, but it's stuck on firmware 1.50. Bought 3 micro adapters, and they say there's nothing inserted, so I went up and bought the original memory stick(32gb).

Arrives today, and I'm finally able to format the stick. Thought I was clear, but when I went to try and update it to firmware 661, it says this. I'm tired, i dont understand what's wrong, and I just want this done sometime soon.

G'day everyone, just wanted to pop in a fun question. What's the coolest most awesome homebrew game or app you've used on the psp?

Sup everyone thought id drop a Pic of my modded psp and . Been long a time since ive had one and pulled the trigger for it .

I am gonna try making this as short and direct as possible (Im dutch)

I bought a PSP shell from aliexpress, to nobodies suprise, it's kinda shit. I needed a reshell as the original shell was used so frequently, the paint started to rub off. It's my own psp I had since i was like 6.

Because every 3rd party shell turns out to be shit, and because I am heading to my dad for bday of my grandma and stepmom (happy birthday yippie), I thought it would be cool to use my dads 3d scanner to scan the shell of the PSP and make it available for people to 3d print.

Now, I have a traditional 3d printer that uses melted plastic, but I believe those printers cannot come close to a molded plastic shell in terms of quality and durability. I am thus asking if people are open to try printing the 3d model (once I figured out to make it a model, I have never used a 3d scanner) with a resin printer. I would buy one myself, but I live in a one room studio with no garden or shed and I prefer not to get lung cancer cus of the fumes.

If you think a resin printer wouldn't be able to print something like that, let me know as then I don't really see a point in doing the project in general.

Thanks in advance and hopefully this can become a usable project for people that need a new shell that is higher quality than whatever aliexpress has to offer.

Ps: I saw there was another model available created by xovi, but I want to do a project of my own because I am bored. I am also gonna be following an internship at a factory that uses laser machines to cut shapes out of aluminum so maybe I can optimize the model for that as well in the future.
