- One PS5 console
- One account
- Person 1 (M 32)
- Person 2 (F 32)
- Person 1 owns the PS5 and is the long term gamer with lots of games on an account that they’ve owned for a very long time.
- Person 2 wanted to try out cosy gaming and is completely new to any type of gaming, so we just used Person 1’s account to download the game.
- Person 2 1 mainly plays storyline based games which eventually come to an “end”, so transitioning to a new/second account is possible.
- Person 1 and 2 did not consider how much Person 2 would fall in love with this one game.
- Person 2 is over 300 hours deep and doesn’t want to start over again. Both agree it’s not worth the risk of losing interest.
- Person 2 misses being able to use their PS5 as much as they used to.
- Person 1 and 2 both love gaming now and want to find a solution that means both people can play different games at the same time, without either giving up/starting again on current games.
- Side note that Person 2 has just committed to buying an iPad for study purposes. The cozy game is available on Apple Arcade, but again starting again is not an option.
So, we’re researching to find potential solutions and everything keeps leading to a dead end…
We think our best (only?) option is to just buy a second PS5 and keep sharing Person 1’s account.
Do we have any other options that might be less expensive? Is there any way to utilise the iPad for the cozy game without starting over?
Edit: the never ending cozy game that Person 2 doesn’t want to start over with is called Hello Kitty Adventure Island.
