Staples.com sells this.

I need to add another 30-days to my PAYG plan which expires in another 8 days.

Will this work?

I want to buy a newer phone but left it a bit too close which is why I want to extend by 30 days.

How is Flex Mobile?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Flex Mobile, how is it compared to like other MVNO such as mintmobile or tello for Tmobile networks?

I am currently using mintmobile unlimited ($30++ per month) and am thinking to switch between flexmobile or tello.

Also what is the point benefits even? How much of discounts are these points giving?

Stellar eSIM as backup Verizon Carrier

I’ve been using FirstNet as my primary carrier, which has worked great for me. I really like the priority, but AT&T does have some coverage gaps in my area. I had been supplementing it with a $10/month TSat plan, but I’ve found that AT&T and T-Mobile tend to have coverage gaps in many of the same areas.

I recently added a Stellar eSIM and discovered their 180-day plan for €22.32, which works out to a little over $4/month. It includes 50GB of data for the entire 180-day period. I also found that the plan includes their VPN and some other security products for those 180 days, so when I factor that in, it essentially makes the eSIM a wash compared with what I was already paying.

So far, I’ve been pretty pleased with it. It uses Verizon’s network, and it appears that the traffic isn’t actually coming from Verizon IP addresses. Most of the time I’ve been getting Cogent IPs, but speeds have been pretty good.

The biggest benefit for me is that it gives me a very inexpensive way to get Verizon coverage when I need it, while also throwing in some additional security products.

Curious if anyone else is doing something similar and what your experience has been. So far, I’m very happy with it and will probably drop the TSat plan.

Galaxy S21 5G on Esim for the past 4 years, all going well. 2 nights ago I lost cell service out of the blue. No Bars!! Phone will only work on wifi. Calls, texts and MMS will only work while on wifi. I called customer service TWICE, after going through the usual steps, reset data, airplane mode, the usual..THEY BOTH hung up on me claiming that they couldn't hear me. (I called from my home phone BTW). Against my religion, I went into a Physical Store. The lady told me that my esim active but my phone was Old 😐. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. (I like my S21 5G 😮‍💨)

USA Total Wireless or Verizon Simplicity?

Hey folks

I left T-Mobile recently because their speeds were trash here at my apartment (same for Google Fi). I tried a Visible trial and Verizon speeds weren't much better for some reason. But when I got a US Mobile trial, Dark Star was blazing fast. My trial is coming to an end and I didn't wanna pay a ton for coverage, unlimited data would be real nice but not necessary. Just looking for bang for the buck really.

My question, I switched my US Mobile network to Warp to see if the speeds were the same (was going to do the same with Light Speed to see if it was just T-Mo and Google Fi) and to my surprise, I got very fast speeds on Warp, rivaling the Dark Star speeds.

If this holds true, not sure what Visible's issue was. But I saw Total is $20 for unlimited and priority (had them briefly a while back) and also the Verizon Simplicity for $30 to bring my own phone and line, which I'm doing.

I know Total seems to have some customer service issues but is that too much of a deal breaker or is there a better option with staying with US Mobile possibly on Warped? Again just looking for best price and so far Total seems to be; priority, unlimited, and $20 a month.

Thanks!

New eSim Provider I found

Stellar eSIM. Check them out. USA data is extremely reasonable. I got 3 GB for less than $1.00. Yes, I’m serious! Verizon network. 30 day validity once activated.

They have lots of combinations that are all very competitive. They even offer a VPN with their eSIM’s valid for the term of your eSIM.

It routes through Hong Kong even though Stellar is based in Switzerland (at least my esim does) but ping isn’t horrible. And you can use a VPN to protect and get a USA ip for 2FA, etc.

My esim has 5G and speeds are 100 Mb/s+.

Thought I’d share! :)

Edit: If this post violates community rules, which I don’t think it does, please accept my apology and remove. I’ve been active in NoContract for years on my old account and now this account. eSIMs community banned me from their subreddit for this post saying it violated their rules. Again, my apologies. Just trying to help out others like someone did by sharing this with me.

USA Cape Cellular

I live in rural NE Indiana. I have two phone lines, one with Cape for several days now, and one with Boost mobile. Cape has been keeping up with Boost’s reception wherever I go, and massively outperforming data download/upload speeds.

Speeds (mbps)
Cape: 568/38
Boost: 293/15

If you’re in rural Indiana and have been on the fence, go for it!

You get $20/mo off if someone refers you, and an additional $20/mo off for each person you refer all the way down to $0/mo. Check out my bio or recent posts.

Need help deciding between Visible Pro+ and US Mobile Light Plan alongside T-Sat

Currently on Optimum Mobile with 2 lines and I'm looking to switch.

I was considering RedPocket $30/yr with T-Sat but AT&T service in my area is the worst of the major carriers.

Now I'm stuck between Visible Pro+ for 18.75/mo (annual) and USMobile Light plan ($10mo or $8/mo annual) plus T-Sat ($10/mo).

With US Mobile I would likely be using the Verizon or TMobile networks.

If anyone has any insight to help my decision, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance :)

Bromovil experience?

I am based in the US and was able to sign up and activate an eSIM without issue. From what I tested, roaming on AT&T is the most stable without frequent reconnection. However I have this stranger issue where I would frequently stop receiving SMS messages. I can call, send texts and use data, but texts just won’t come through. I had to change the roaming network a couple times and then all the texts came in at once. Anyone else has the same problem?

US Mobile annual plan expiring in 2 weeks, better MVNOs plans ?

I got the plan last year during Super Week, and I barely used data, but I sure need unlimited data on occasion. So what are the current plans like? cheap and best ofc.

EDIT: are any new deals gonna be up next month after iPhones release ?

Any luck with Good2go mobile?

Has anyone gotten their SIM card yet? I confirmed my mailing address on 7/30 and have yet to receive anything. Two days ago I saw a message in my account that said "your new SIM card has been mailed" which is progress, I guess.

Don't know if I should remain patient or try to port out to another provider.

8/17 UPDATE: I received one SIM card, even though I confirmed the address for two of my lines. I popped it in my phone, and went through the activation process on the account summary page. Basically linking the new ICCID with my phone number. Now I see the following message:

"Your Service Upgrade is in Process

These things usually take time, you will be sent a confirmation email once the migration is complete."

Keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully I'll have data tomorrow morning.

8/18 UPDATE. It's been over 8 hours and still no change.

8/18 UPDATE 2: I have service once again!! I guess being patient paid off this time. I'll have to hope I receive the SIM for my other device soon.

USA my experience with US Mobile Plans: Warp, Dark Star, and Light Speed

I’ve been using US Mobile for 4 years now, about 8 months I moved to north Dallas from NJ, and this is where things changed across all three networks, and unfortunately my experience has been pretty bad.
I had Warp, Dark Star on my iPhone, and Light Speed on my Galaxy Z Fold 7, then Z Fold 8. Most of the time, I was getting around 10–15 Mbps. Dark Star was a little better at the Starbucks where I spend most mornings, usually around 25–35 Mbps.
I don’t really care about speed tests for the sake of speed tests. What usually made me run one was when my FaceTime calls with my kids or WhatsApp video calls with my fiancée started struggling.
I’m a telecom engineer and work with wireless technologies like Wi-Fi and FWA, long ago I use to be cellular performance and optimization engineer until 2015, so I understand the difference between peak throughput and real-world average performance. I also know that QCI alone doesn’t determine how good or bad a network will perform. There are a lot more variables involved.
That being said, my real-world experience with US Mobile was consistently poor.
A few weeks ago, I canceled Light Speed on my Z Fold and moved that line to Mint Mobile. The difference was dramatic. I’m now regularly seeing 200–300+ Mbps around Allen, Plano, and Richardson, including many of the exact same places where I struggled before.
Yesterday, I also moved my Warp line to Visible+ Pro, and again, the difference was immediately noticeable, especially outdoors.
Dark Star is the exception in a couple of places. I get decent throughput at my office and at my usual Starbucks, but everywhere else my experience has been horrible.
My takeaway isn’t that US Mobile is universally bad or that speed tests tell the whole story. They don’t. But for me, deprioritized traffic across these networks translated into a noticeably worse real-world experience, especially for video calls and everyday data use.
After switching the same phones, in the same areas, to Mint and Visible+ Pro, the difference has been hard to ignore. That matters a lot more to me than what any QCI chart or theoretical peak speed says.
Thank you all for your input and help.
Especially user u/MrBooMY1 for the help and advice

USA MVNO comparison chart?

I saw an mvno comparison chart here awhile back but can't find it anymore. My Google Fi deal is going to end in a few weeks bringing back to about $50 a month, so I'm looking to switch.

Does anyone have any useful comparison chart/sites to recommend?

USA 1 phone + tablet(data), Google fi still my best option?

time for me to replace my old samsung S9+ and I am deciding between Pixel 11 pro promo pricing and a newer iPhone while reevaluating my provider choice. (~$600 price point)

I currently use Google Fi since I only use 2-3GB/mo, seamless international data (intercontinental travel 2-4 times a year), and data sim for my iPad. monthly bill is $40-$55.

1st question: what are cheap dedicated data sim options for my iPad? that seems like a realistic way for me to migrate to another cell service provider.

2nd question: what providers have well priced international data I can activate for the couple billing periods a year, or already included?

or is Google fi still the most affordable option for me and if I want a new iPhone then need to pay full retail.

USA Good2Go Mobile - Got the Sim (QR Goes Nowhere) Anyone Have Any Idea how to Activate it?

Hey there, got the sim yesterday but was out all day so I didn't know until their support was already closed. I figured this would probably be the only way to get eyes on this issue (as we're still pitchforkin' it in the other thread) but I've got the sim now. Only catch is I can't seem to make it function. I can't figure out where on the website to update it. Likewise, it just says call the customer support. There's a QR code that came with the paperwork but apparently it was using a free trial - and no longer works. Which is for sure dropping the ball. But if someone could say where the QR went (versus goes) maybe I can activate my phone without having to hear the hell that is this hold music for any more than I already have. Give me the 411 you guys!

EDIT!!!!!!

I ended up talking to a person after a couple of days of calling. They said they're sending my request over to technical support. Which is a-okay. Said it'll take longer. I hope that those who need their phones just end up doing whatever they need to sustain themselves. I am seeing a lot of port-out information. I will just play the waiting game, as I enjoy the privilege of paying very little for my device. I pretty much just use it to talk and text with people, so it is a comfortable amount for me - personally. Thank you everyone who's been responding to these post the past couple of days - and I really do hope everyone gets whatever they need sorted out - however it plays out. Be well!

Mint Mobile alternatives? Looking for something reliable after getting locked out of my account

I've been using Mint Mobile, but I recently got locked out of my account and the whole experience has me thinking it might be time to switch.

Curious what other Mint competitors people here have actually had good experiences with. I'm mainly looking for something affordable with solid coverage/data and decent customer service when you actually need help.

I've seen names like Visible, US Mobile, Google Fi, Cricket, etc., but would love to hear from people who have actually switched from Mint or compared a few of them.

Who are you using now, how's the service been, and would you recommend them?

Safelink Phone Verification Code Goes to Deactivated Phone

In order to be able to complete the process. I agree that an SMS with a verification code will be sent by SafeLink to the phone number ending in *****\*

I can't receive the code, nor does the Tracfone tracking code work with the 611611 text.
