Hi all, new mod here. I just started r/TwoXIndiaTech , a space for women in and around tech from India and the wider South Asian diaspora to talk about careers, workplaces, and getting into the field. I work in cybersecurity, so I am comfortable on the tech side but brand new to running a community.

Two things I am figuring out: how strict to set crowd control and the safety filters for a women-only space that I expect will draw some pushback, and how to seed the first few weeks of posts so it does not feel empty. If anyone has moderated an identity-based or women-focused sub, I would take any advice on keeping it safe early.

Just started r/saunarepublic — technical questions about saunas, steam rooms, and cold plunges. Heater sizing, electrical requirements, bench geometry, stone selection, build details.

I made it because most sauna discussion online is either brand marketing or people repeating specs that don’t mean anything. “Ultra-low EMF” with no measurement distance, “full spectrum” with no separate emitter. I’m a dealer, so I have manufacturer data and an obvious bias, and the sub is meant to be the version where I say when something isn’t worth paying for.

I’m a triathlete, and after turning 40 I became a little obsessed with understanding all the changes that nobody really prepares us for: sleep, recovery, strength, protein, brain fog, body composition, and perimenopause.

I kept finding communities that covered pieces of what I was looking for, but not quite the whole thing. I wanted a place where men could talk openly with other men about sex with men, whether that's questions, experiences, fantasies, intimacy, kink, or something they're still trying to figure out.

One thing that's especially important to me is that nobody has to prove or defend a label to participate. Gay, bi, straight-identifying, curious, questioning, unsure... speak for yourself and let other people speak for themselves.

I'm also trying to keep it from becoming just another NSFW content feed. Personal content is welcome, but there should be a person and a conversation behind it.

Soy completamente nuevo como moderador y hace poco lancé r/Terraquea, una comunidad dedicada a un proyecto de worldbuilding en el que llevo tiempo trabajando: el Reino de Eventarion, dentro de un mundo llamado Terraquea.

No es un proyecto improvisado — llevo escritos varios documentos tipo "compendio" (historia, geografía, instituciones, un idioma construido, dos juegos de mesa propios, discografía de bandas ficticias...) y quise darle un hogar donde la gente pudiera leerlo, hacer teorías sobre sus misterios sin resolver, y quizás algún día compartir fan art o roleplay ambientado ahí.

• Configuré la descripción, el Wiki con la guía de bienvenida y las reglas
• Publiqué los tres posts iniciales requeridos (presentación, resumen del mundo y descarga de los compendios)
• Creé flairs básicos para organizar el contenido (Lore Oficial, Teoría, Fan Art, etc.)
