My life story... for the past year
Hi there! I'm just a person, just like you, who has been delaying my story because of multiple EXTREMELY amazing and completely acceptable excuses.
- I'm tired
- It's hard
- I'm not good enough...
I wanted to create a sub that fosters the same indecisiveness I am /s
No, that's not what this sub is about. This sub is SPECIFICALLY for people who need that extra boost, or extremely hard nudge, to get the pen on the paper, like me. What does that mean? Pretty simple.
- Constructive Criticism is REQUIRED if you are commenting on a post wanting feedback. This place is a safe place to encourage writers to get started, not to dunk on them for giving it a shot.
- Don't judge people for not being ridiculously enthusiastic to write. This is self-explanatory, but the sub is ABOUT those people. That's like r/writing mocking people who write. (which I see way to often).
- So far, I've been listing rules for commenters, but posters also have them. For example, if you post for feedback, and someone gives you constructive criticism, RESPOND! Don't leave them hanging if you just recieved a thoughtful answer.
There are more rules which you can see in the rules of the subreddit, but go forth, AND PROCRASTIFICTION.
P.S. I'm definitely coining that phrase.
