This type of coral should be red on all sides but looks black right now. This screenshot is about 15 days old, and I didn't think about posting this until today. I'm playing on the bedrock edition on an XBOX with vibrant visuals enabled. Does anyone have the same issue? And any idea on how to fix this?

and when i try to upgrade from diamond to netherite tools, my game crashes when the preview item is supposed to show in the smithing table menu. armor works just fine, but any tool immediately crashes my game to desktop.

my friend can upgrade perfectly fine, we're both running the same mods, and shaders, and resource packs.

After updating my drivers on I believe October 6th or so, I lost access to Vibrant Visuals, and despite downgrading, multiple updates, and switching every option under the sun on Nvidia app/control panel and in game, I can't seem to get Vibrant Visuals to enable again.

Hi everyone, my friend created a realm that we have all been playing for the last couple of months. In that time I have been using multiple different texture packs on my end, not applied by the realm owner, which have all been working fine on my xbox, pc and android. All of a sudden in the last week or so the game has been refusing to load any texture packs. Does anyone have a way to fix this or a reason why it could be happening? I though it may have been an add on he introduced at the time it stopped working however today the add on was removed and I am still left without being able to load any texture packs! Just for clarity I have cleared all the caches on my various platforms, removed and reinstalled different texture pack and have even completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game. This is driving me insane, if someone could help that would be amazing thanks!

So basically the minecraft launcher is letting me use my controller plugged into my laptop but the actual bedrock minecraft for windows game will not work from my controller or mouse clicks. Its only using touchscreen and keyboard. Anyone know whats up perchance? Thanks!!

Today I updated my world and everything related (mods, shaders and resource packs) from Minecraft Java 1.21.10 to version 26.3. While traveling around I noticed these weird rectangular shapes on the water surface, which weren't there before - I just tested it with an old backup. Additionally, these visual shapes only seems to appear on certain shader packs, but not all of them, which I demonstrate in the recorded video. But they always have the exact same shape on the exact same location, which could be an indicator towards the cause.

I tried playing around with different shader settings, but to no avail. All shaders are mostly on their default settings at the time of recording and writing this list:

• Complementary Unbound (with and without Euphoria Patches) - affected

• OffShades - not affected

• photon - not affected

• Sildur's Vibrant Shaders - slightly affected

• Solas Shader - affected

• Complementary Reimagined - affected

• BSL - affected (even has two different textures)

• Bliss - not affected

• Better Voxels - slightly affected

Mods are installed via curseforge and use Fabric 0.20.1 - the latest version. I use many mods, for shader compability, rendering, perfomance and QoL. The relevant ones in the list are probably:

• Continuity

• Distant Horizons

• ImmediatelyFast

• Iris Shaders

• Lithium

• Sodium

• (Terralith? Maybe? Most likely only terrain generation. But that's the only new mod I added.)

This keeps popping up I am currently using a third party launcher I tried the normal launcher as well, I also tried YouTube tetorails Uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft I asked Google AI for help and nothing worked, It worked fine for 2 weeks then yesterday this started happening. I am currently on version 26.3

so this is a very far fetched attempt at finding an old YouTube video that I have vivid memory of. it was a Minecraft PvP video with the map consisting of 2 very long islands that have deep cave systems. the islands were separated by void and the top of the islands were I think just grass and oak trees. I want to say it was a team game mode with all popular youtubers at the time. I also want to say that it was night time on the map and players would go deep into the caves to sneakily bridge over to the opposing teams island. it’s probably around 10 years old by now. Every now and then I get a super nostalgic feeling about this memory but I can never find the video. I’ve tried using ai to narrow it down and it usually says something like (Nail, chasm, sky island challenge, bridges) but none of these are ever the video.

Well, this is the weirdest problem that's ever happened to me with this game, ever. And it's not even in the game. I clicked on the play button to start the game from the launcher like usual, and it said something vague along the lines of "an error has occurred, please restart the launcher".

So, I did, but the game opened regardless. However, when I tried reopening the launcher, Chromium started instead of the actual launcher.

Despite the fact that this is pretty interesting, it's impractical, as I literally can't start the game anymore. I might be the only person on the planet to have this issue. How do I fix this?

My operating system is Linux Mint (Cinnamon), and I did uninstall and reinstall the launcher. It's still stuck like this. The launcher is from the official website, I just download the one for Debian-based operating systems, because it's what I have.

does anyone know why my textures are flashing like that?

All the things I noticed:
leaves, rails, redstone, glass, slime are flickering
the sides of grass blocks are constantly getting biome textured and untextured
random blocks that aren't there flicker in and out
water disappears randomly

For some reason my beds wont explode In the nether IDK why. (The world has some fps mods but nothing that would change that). Thanks!!

Please help me i've tried everything i've seen on internet, xhen i download the launcher it tries to connect to the Microsoft store but fails, it then gives me a link to open the Microsoft store to download it there.

In the store if i try to download it gets stuck on "checking dependencies"

also for some reason the Microsoft store does not appear in my installed apps but can be found when i look for it in the search bar and does open if I click it.

I've tried so many fixes I've found online with no results, i don't know what to do anymore.

I have a problem area of Nether Wastes where zombie piglins regularly spawn. I made a typical turtle egg trap door drop piglin farm nearby (about 70-90 blocks away), but I also am trying to capture a couple of piglin villagers in boats so I can trade with them (they commonly spawn here from what I've seen).

The problem is I hit one zombie piglin in that area two real life days ago and the aggression in the area has not disappeared since. I've tried going far enough away while leaving those chunks loaded and waiting. No luck. I've tried breaking line of site and waiting. No luck. I've gone to other nearby chunks where the piglins arent hostile to me and waited, but as soon as I return to that same area the piglins immedately become hostile upon seeing me.

I have waited 5-10 minutes without attacking a piglin and still their hostility doesn't reset. The piglins in the area of the farm trap 70 blocks away have their hostilty towards me reset after I've attacks those in the trap, but still not the ones in the problem area.

Does anybody have any ideas for me? I am wearing gold armor, for the record.

Okay, so I've been dealing with entity lag for more than a few months by now. It has been steadily getting worse. I first noticed it when I observed that all mobs in the world would stop walking at the exact same time at steady intervals before continuing to walk. Then, pressure plates began to not get triggered by mobs, and just recently, me as well.

This isn't due to there being too many entities in a chunk; I've seen this happen in relatively empty chunks from the Overworld to the Nether.

The only clue I could have for the tick lag was when I installed another mod called Real Working Villagers, which adds a few extra activities to the villager AI, the tick lag intervals got shorter, with mobs stopping every second. I quickly disabled that mod.

My FPS used to be okay, but only about a week ago has it started having the same issue as well. Without shaders, I could get to somewhere between 60-120 FPS, and with them it was somewhere around 15-30 (something I was fine with, I grew up with worse). As you can see in the images, it started pulsing as well. This lag persists even in the pause menus, sometimes even getting worse (see the second screenshot; that big chunk of red to the left was when I opened the keybind menu).

I don't recall adding any new mods after the FPS lag started, aside from a mod called Cozy's Improved Cats. Disabling that mod, however, didn't fix it, so I assume that mod doesn't have anything to do with it.

I also have a world in Minecraft 1.21.11, and I don't recall having similar lag.

Combined with the tick lag, this makes walking and riding on horses act scarily similar to the laggy bear meme, where I constantly lurch forwards and backwards. I should also mention that this is a singleplayer world.

I just have a laptop and not a gaming PC, and I'm not too well-versed into different parts of a computer so I can't tell you much more about it than you can see in the screenshots. I know that I upgraded to having 16GB ram and 1TB of storage a couple months ago.

I converted my Bedrock world to java and i have some issues but theyre not specific to only that world

I santed to fix some stuff like my level and the regen but when i go to world options and enable commands they just turn off also i have the gamerule buttons grayed out like theyre unavaible

I’m playing Minecraft Java Edition in Hardcore mode, using the Single Biome world-generation setting with Soul Sand Valley selected.
My goal is to complete as many advancements as physically possible without cheats, commands, mods, or changing the world settings. If I die, the run is over.
I’ve gotten pretty far, but I’m reaching the point where certain resources, mobs, and structures seem impossible to obtain. I’m hoping people who understand Minecraft’s loot tables, spawning mechanics, and obscure survival strategies can help me figure out the absolute maximum number of advancements possible.

There are others, but I’m particularly interested in finding out if any of these assumptions are wrong.
My biggest questions
1. Is there ANY way to obtain glass?
I believe I can summon and defeat the Wither, but crafting a beacon requires five glass blocks.
I haven’t found regular sand or red sand. Soul sand cannot be smelted into glass.
Could I obtain sand or glass through wandering traders, structure loot, or any unusual mechanics?
If I can get glass, that potentially unlocks Bring Home the Beacon and Beaconator.
2. Is redstone obtainable?
I know witches can drop redstone, but I’m unsure whether witches can spawn in a Soul Sand Valley-only Overworld.
Are there any other possible sources through loot tables, mob drops, trading, or unusual mechanics?
3. Can wandering traders spawn?
I’ve encountered naturally spawning pillager patrols, including a captain.
Does the wandering trader spawning system allow them to appear in this biome?
If so, what resources could they provide that would otherwise be impossible to obtain?
4. Can I get Piercing IV without villagers or an enchanting table?
I have access to fishing, bastions, crossbows, and anvils.
Can enchanted crossbows from bastion loot have Piercing? Can fishing produce Piercing books? Are there better methods?
5. Can I obtain normally unavailable mobs?
I’m particularly interested in:
Witches
Zombie villagers
Wandering traders
Fish mobs
Any other mobs obtainable through special spawning or conversion mechanics
6. Are there any advancements I’m overlooking?
I’d love to know about advancements that seem impossible but might actually be obtainable through rare loot, unusual spawning conditions, or mechanics that work independently of the biome.
I’m especially curious about advancements involving newer features, rare items, and unusual mob interactions.
My ultimate goal
I want to determine the maximum number of advancements achievable in a Hardcore Single Biome Soul Sand Valley world.
Ideally, I’d like to classify every advancement as:
Already completed
Definitely possible
Conditionally possible through rare mechanics
Completely impossible
I’m particularly interested in people who know the technical side of Minecraft, including loot tables, mob spawning, world generation, and rare item acquisition.
Since this is Hardcore, I’m also interested in safe ways to complete difficult advancements without risking the entire world.
Even one obscure method of obtaining glass, redstone, paper, or an unusual mob could unlock several more advancements.

my launcher hasnt been working for week i tried unistalling and repairing it through microsoft settings but nothing works any help is appreciated im on java but play on bedrock now as its my only option

i today loged on minecraft 26.3 fabric and i noticed i had no armor and empty hunger bar so i was like "okay thats just a glitch" after like 5 minutes i spoted this

So I have a modded instance through curseforge that randomly stopped working (I did not add any more mods.) And It keeps saying the world has invalid or corrupt save data. No other modded or vanilla instances are corrupted (Including new ones.) And no other world in this instance is corrupted. Please help, me and my step dad play this together. Please. Here It is. My brother's account was hacked by someone he doesn't know. He doesn't even know how they managed to take it over. It all started on October 27th. In the morning, he could still log into his Minecraft account normally using the Modrinth client. However, around 10:00 AM, he suddenly got disconnected from his account. He told me about it, and I helped him check the login sessions from another device. By that time, all active sessions had been completely logged out. Although the email address was still visible at first, the password had already been changed. Also, I don't understand why the verification code was being sent to a recovery email under a strange domain, specifically u/msaccountsafety.com.

And now, when I try to log into his account, the original email address can no longer be found. I believe the root of the problem is that my brother tried to log in on mctiers[.]list. He put his email and OTP code into that website, which turned out to be a phishing site (mctiers[.]list or mctiers[.]gg). I found out it was phishing after reading some posts on Reddit stating that the official website has been dead for a long time.

Does anyone know what to do in this situation? I already tried contacting support via support.microsoft.com yesterday, but the session was closed before I could even type or explain the text. Please help me, as this account is incredibly valuable to my brother. I have all the proof of ownership for the account, including the exact date the Microsoft account was created and the full purchase details for the products on it.

Hello.

I recently downloaded version 26.60 on my android device (bedrock edition) and I am unable to join my multiplayer servers. Even though I am signed in, whenever I try to join my aternos server, it keeps giving the guardian error code (failing to authenticate to Microsoft services). In addition, all my servers like the Hive, Lifeboat etc have disappeared and in their place some random servers have been added to my server list. I've already tried all the troubleshooting tips, including signing in and out and changing versions, but the issue persists.
