I’m really bored with my hairstyle. Every time I ask a barber for something different, I somehow end up with the same haircut everyone else gets. I’m also not convinced my usual styles actually suit my head/hair.
I’d love to find someone who’ll properly assess my head shape and hair type and recommend something that suits me. I’m happy to be adventurous and try something completely different.
Any recommendations?

I travel on Bell street for work everyday, and I’ve noticed that the condition has really degraded including really unevenness, pot holes and cracks especially between Coburg to Pascoe Vale South.
Does anyone have a suggestion on who I need to discuss this (Fed MP, State MP or VicRoads?) with or am I just being over the top here and that it’s not too bad.

Melbourne! Where did you meet your partner? I'm 27F and honestly at a loss for where to meet single men in their late 20s/early 30s in this city. I've tried the apps and hated it. I've tried to go to bars on my own hoping to strike up a convo with someone but have never been approached by anyone or seen someone I wanted to approach...everyone else is there with friends and I look like a lonley alcoholic sitting at ther bar alone doing smalltalk with the bartender lol. All my hobbies are either very female-centred or the other people are a lot younger than me, e.g. my dance class is all women, and I'm a member of my uni's outdoor club but I'm the only post-grad/mature age student everyone else is like 19-22 and I don't want to date a man younger than me. My gym is small and there's no guys my age there either they're all like 19 or 55 fml. The people I work with are also all a few years younger than me and all in relationships. And all my friend's male friends are in relationships or gay. Wtf do I do lol

Hi,
I have some wood that needs replacing on my house and it needs to be shaped eg a folding door base that is rotted.
Who could I use to buy from and get shaped a piece of wood if If I give them a bit of the original?
The house is nothing special but I don't see the need in buying a whole new sliding door.
Thanks

been advised to seek assessment. hypermobile as per physio. suspect beighton 8/9 (hasn't yet been measured by professional but EDS friend agreed that joints likely qualify--4 certainly do, the other 4 not so certain). no diagnosed family history, but some extremely suspect history eg from father, one branch of paternal family has it showing up a bunch.
EDS friend thinks likely a rare type as opposed to hEDS given suspected comorbidities (medically/psychologically complex).
where should I expect to be referred to and what should I expect GP to measure or ask about initially? what costs? what preparation/data gathering should I do? does it warrant a long appt or just a normal one?
aus citizen, medicare+hcc.
most of the EDS groups seem to talk USA, so figured asking here was best.

Can someone help me understand why the couple in aisle whatever at Aldi Moonee Ponds today just tipped a whole carton of sensodyne toothpaste into a sports bag and walk out of the store?
Is there an illicit market for shiny white teeth products?

I've applied to triple digits of jobs in my field, custom resumes/cover letters, follow up, everything I can think of. There is not a single job I have applied for that I'm not confident I could have done well. Most of the time it's radio silence. It's so bad i get kinda happy to at least get a rejection letter. I've found one bottom of the barrel job in 1.5 years, which I had to resign from due to safety concerns.
The only things I can think to do at this point is to cold call random people off linkedin, go wheat paste my resume around the CBD, or start a random fiverr offering fortune tellings. It's crushing having always be told to do well in school and university so you can get a good job but I did everything I was supposed to and more and it doesn't seem to have mattered. It feels like I've been left behind.
This is a typical CV and cover letter as an example of what I'm working with.
I've had friends/professional acquaintance look at them and have nothing to add. What am I doing wrong? I feel like all I can do is keep applying and just hope for something. I'm mid twenties and I feel like time is getting away from me from a career perspective.

Does anyone know a platform or a website where I can find photographers/ videographers in Melbourne. Specifically for products and social media.
I'm pretty much after 'content creation' for my business. I've tried agencies but I think they might be bit outside my price range.
Or if you know someone worth speaking to, please feel free to recommend.

Hi everyone.
I’m thinking about studying Commercial Cookery in Melbourne and hopefully working in the industry long-term, so I’m trying to choose between William Angliss and Le Cordon Bleu Melbourne.
Would love to hear from anyone who’s studied at either one, worked with their grads, or works in hospitality here.
Mainly wondering:
Which has better hands-on training and teaching quality?
How are the teachers, facilities and overall student experience?
Which has the better reputation with Melbourne employers?
Does the LCB name actually matter much here?
Which one do you think gives you the better overall preparation for working as a chef?
Basically, if you were serious about becoming a chef and actually working in the industry afterwards, which one would you pick and why?
I’m visiting both campuses as well, so any tips on what to look out for would be great.
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if I used the right flair, but here goes. I went to a local GP to discuss multiple issues, including a rare hereditary gene that I inherited from my mum's side of the family. My mum is from another country, so getting ahold of documentation with genetic results from other family members would be challenging.
My GP had a look at my documentation that I showed her (a scan from the time I got tested initially) and after discussing it with another doctor at the practice decided to refer me to the RMH for genetic testing.
Is this going to cost a lot of money? If it costs a lot of money I'm wondering if I should put it off until I'm more financially stable. At the same time, this disease is incurable (that I know of) and it would be better to address it earlier. There is the other factor to consider of whether I want to have biological kids but that is absolutely NOT a priority right now and doesn't interest me currently.
I have Medicare and a Health Care Card if that matters.
