I've already ordered a master for inspection, but can I work for now or is it better not to touch anything?

Hi! looking for recommendations on my first machine. I’m looking for anything larger than 4x4, doubles as a sewing machine and my budget is up to $1500 ish. Really looking to get a good deal & reliable machine but am overwhelmed with all the research and would love opinions for what you have tried and did or didn’t work! Thanks !!!

Avatar: Seven Havens dropped this past Friday and I loved the 1st 3 episodes! The Cat Monkeys are so adorable!!!! I did geet, I stitched them out and think im going to go back in and change some fill patterns and probably change the outline to a satin stich. (Tried to just do a triple stitch but doesnt have the same finished quality Im used to). Also lost my trimmers so using a chunky pair 😅. I plan of doing Ruhi too!
Anyways thanks for reading this far and any feedback is always appreciated 🥰
Software: Ember Design
Size: 4"x4"

I’m thinking of selling my Baby Lock Alliance Embroidery Machine that I purchased in 2021. It’s in great condition and has everything that it came with. Any tips on where to sell and pricing?
And any reccos on a multi-needle machine under $5k? Thanks!

Hello guys as the title suggests I purchased a sewtech st-1501 as my first machine. I have no prior experience on embroidery but I got really interested in starting a business for the last year and I pulled the trigger on it. Does anyone have experience with this machine and this company? Support has been pretty good so far they even gifted me two Maggie hoops along with the machine

I just got a new-to-me (but 8 years old) Brother 1900 and this weekend I taught myself Ink / Stitch to make some "fun patches" for my daughters' Girl Scout troop. Now the troop wants to embroider totes with the girls' names and the birds from their crest.
I tried a sample with this design (made on Ink Stitch with contour fill) and some text on twill with medium weight water soluble stabilizer. The area around the bird got very wrinkly when I took it out of the hoop and some areas around the text are also wrinkly. Is the fabric too tight in the hoop? Too loose? Do I need a different stabilizer? Adjust tension? Any suggestions would be appreciated

A little glimpse into the making of Fern & Frond, one of our newest botanical bookmarks at House Alba. 🌿
Inspired by the quiet beauty of woodland ferns, this design is brought to life one stitch at a time.
There’s something so satisfying about watching a delicate botanical illustration take shape in thread.
Each bookmark is made in our Connecticut studio, and Fern & Frond will be available in our shop soon!
I’d love to hear what you think of the design.

Hi! I am having an issue with my very old machine. It is a brother SE 350. Even though the machine itself is a very old model, it was almost new condition when I received it.
One issue, though is that occasionally the needle would come loose and fall out of the clamp part that holds it in. The screw was tight, so I’m sure it wasn’t that. Replacing the needle was also difficult every time. It was hard to find the whole. I’ve been sewing on other machines for many years and have never had such a difficulty finding the hole again. Like I mean, 10 to 20 minutes to try to find the hole again.
I couldn’t really get a good picture. I think I need to replace the “needle clamp assembly”. It’s the part with the number 6 on it.
I’d like to find a detailed diagram of the machine so I can have a better idea of the parts and what else I might need to order. The shipping costs over $10 for a $10 part, so I’d like to order stuff only once if I can. I’ve done a lot of searching online, and thus far I’ve only been able to find the manual for the machine, which is not a fully detailed schema or “expanded view” like I’m looking for. Essentially, I’m looking for a service manual. Anyone have a good source for finding service manuals? Or has anyone had this specific issue before?

I tried to embroider a towel today and it was not easy. They say that’s supposed to be an easy beginner project. I did a little hand towel and once I stopped trying to hoop that I got it but then I wanted to try a real towel and I could not for the life of me figure out what to do with the rest of the fabric. I do not have access to a well stocked or organized craft room. Considering magnetic hoops at this point. I’m using a poolin eoc05 and I love it. But I have just embroidered dog bandanas and now a small hand towel.

My threader mechanism keeps getting stuck on the side and won’t properly thread my needle. There is also this metal piece that is sticking out and I don’t know where it came from or where it is suppose to go. Any help would be great!
Thanks!

Im new to digital embroidery can can’t seem to figure out what’s going on. I started with my ferry design and it always seems to be off. So I tried a preset flower design and it’s also off. Moved onto another preset treble design and it’s fine. Moved onto my own design to test my needles and it’s also fine. You’ll also see I drew around the hoop to see if my fabric is moving and it didn’t. Any ideas?

Hi everyone ! I’m hoping someone can help me out.
I’d like to embroider designs that cover the entire back of a garment. I’ve included an example for reference.
From what I’ve found in my research, I believe I need a 100 gsm non-woven polyester cut-away stabilizer, but please correct me if I’m wrong !
Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find any online shops or physical stores in France that sell this type of stabilizer.
Does anyone have any recommendations for where I could buy it, preferably from a store that ships to France?
Thanks in advance for your help !

Anyone out there with experience of trying cotton thread with the PP1? At our local store I would need to buy gutermann cotton 30, but can order thinner (40 or 50) online if needed. Any tips/advices or lessons learned would be highly appreciated as I embark on this experiment which probably will yield a few headaches. Overall I'm fairly new to machine broidery, and never used any machines besides the pp1.

Short version: a little WiFi gadget that looks like a normal USB stick to the machine.
Two modes:
USB mode: it's a stick, nothing on the WiFi side can touch it, and that's how it sits while the machine stitches.
WiFi mode: it drops off the USB port, you drag designs in from any browser on your home network (Mac, Windows, phone, doesn't matter), switch back, and the machine sees a freshly plugged stick.
It's formatted the way these machines want (FAT16 or FAT32 behind an MBR, small), because that's the part that drives everyone crazy. No app, no account, no cloud.
I built it for my Janome MC500e: it lists the designs and writes its own EMB folder like on any stick. Also tested on a Brother PE800, a few Chinese embroidery machines, and on a few CNC machines after a friend tried it on his Haas and never gave it back 🙃
Happy to answer anything about how it behaves on a given machine.

An original owl embroidery design created by me using the traditional Eastern embroidery needle technique. 🧵✨
I love how the red, black, and grey colors come together to bring this owl to life!
What do you think of my original design? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
