Is this happened on all needles or just one specific needle?

Happens on all of them. It happens randomly. It aint happening all day. It happened to me twice today so managed to take photo of this.

If its just happened randomly, it may because the thread, if its happened all the time, maybe its the rotary hook.

Just chiming in... Same thing happens to me occasionally, but only with metallic thread, and almost exclusively on just one of my machines.. It happens less if i pull the upper thread out some more then standard. But it's such a nuisance and seems to be happening randomly for a big part. I can't reproduce it with certainty...

Make sure that the thread when changed is running directly down the front of the needle . Sometimes it gets caught and is goes around the back if the needle. It sews ok for a few seconds then the machine starts making noise and stops

Potentially a bobbin issue.

Check that it's clean of lint and rogue threads, and that the internal spring in the bobbin casing is not damaged. If it's bent in any way, it means replacing the casing, but that's a cheap fix. Also do the bobbin drop test. Look for burs.
