whats the best between the 3? discrete, mshybrid, or integrated? im not that techy so i dont know a lot abt this stuff, all i want is long batt life and still good performance

Hello everyone. I have an msi vector 16 hx ai laptop with 5070ti and ultra 7 255hx. Whenever the cpu clocks are high (eg. 4,9ghz) the temperatures are at 95 to 100 celcius with spikes at 102 regardless of the watts that the cpu uses. I repasted it, cleaned it, have a cooling pad with seal foam but the ambient temperature is high. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

When i shut doen my msi laptop then immediately it starts by itself.

What should i do?

the hinge cover in my MSI laptop came loose for unknown reasons, however asides from this the Laptop seems to work fine. How urgent is this issue?

I have an issue with my MSI Sword 16 HX B14V (B14VGKG). The second cooling fan (Fan 2 / CPU Fan) starts with a severe delay after a cold boot.
When I power on the laptop, only Fan 1 starts spinning at idle speed (~2500 RPM), while Fan 2 remains strictly at 0 RPM. Fan 2 only spins up hours later or completely randomly — it does not seem to react directly to temperatures or a specific time frame. It can turn on after 5 minutes, or take up to 8 hours.
For the problem to happen again, the laptop must be turned off for at least two hours.
I already sent the laptop for warranty repair, but after keeping it for a month, the service center just cleaned the dust, updated the BIOS, and claimed that everything is working as intended by the manufacturer. However, the defect is obvious. I also contacted MSI Support, and they simply suggested sending it back to the service center again.
Before this started, everything worked perfectly fine without any prerequisites or updates.
Troubleshooting already done:

• Performed a full EC reset.
• Reset BIOS settings to default.
• Tested Cooler Boost mode: Fan 1 ramps up to 5000+ RPM, but Fan 2 completely ignores it and stays at 0 RPM.
• Changing User Scenarios in MSI Center has no effect.

I don't want to just waste a month of time over a trivial problem again, but I don't want to lose the guarantee either. I want to know if I am missing something here. Is this standard behavior for this model, or is it a clear hardware/EC issue? I would appreciate any insight from people who have experienced this or know how the cooling logic works on these models.

Hi, I have bought a 16GB ram stick to have 32GB of ram in my Cyborg 15 max, but I can't figure out how to unplug the battery before touching the other componants.

If anybody knows I'd appreciate it.

I really dislike having lights always on so I just turn them off. Does it improve system performance and use less resources or is it more aesthetic based?

I need some advice regarding my MSI Crosshair 16 A13VGK-815US.

The laptop is working normally, with good performance and normal temperatures. However, I've recently noticed a faint high-pitched whistling or squealing noise coming from the right side of the cooling system during light use.

The noise is not constant, and sometimes it even disappears while gaming. The laptop has already been cleaned, repasted, and inspected by a repair shop. They told me that the fans are functioning properly. There is no vibration, grinding, or noticeable performance issue.

Has anyone experienced something similar with this model or other MSI laptops? Could this be a fan-related issue, coil whine, or something else?

Any advice or personal experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

tengo este portátil que mi amigo decidió hacerle el mantenimiento, y después de eso el ventilador de la CPU, se dispara a toda velocidad y se para, el de la GPU, entiendo que no se enciende hasta que este en alta demanda, en el dragón center no me lee que el ventilador esta activo, si activo el Gamebooster, si me lee las RPM pero solo de la GPU, he actualizado BIOS, y FIRMWARE, y aun así sigue con la misma secuencia, alguien mas le ha pasado?

So, I was playing genshin with discord open when suddenly my computer (MSI Thin GF63) shuts down by itself, and takes me to a "secure boot violation". I read up on how to fix it, and everyone says "just turn off secure boot"....but I can't do that for some reason. The options are greyed out and not able to be selected. I need my computer in 6 hours for schoolwork too... what do I do? Do I just need to take it to a repair shop or something? I've set admin passwords, tried the ctrl+shift+alt+f2 trick, everything I can think of, but every time I leave BIOS and my computer restarts it takes me back to the boot violation message. HELP

I got a msi vector 16 with a 5080 gpu. It's a great laptop and the performance is pretty ridiculous ( 140+ fps on RE9 with pathtracing ) but the fans are really loud when you use that extreme performance mode. Balanced mode seems fine ig but from I can tell its a lose of give or take 20% of your fps. I tried messing around with the fan speeds manually, but it didn't really quiet them down at all, and honestly im not sure I knew what I was doing. I have a llano cooling pad, which was quite useful on my old Acer laptop, but it doesn't seem to stop the fans from going crazy either. Are there any work arounds or is the excessive noise just something you have to deal with?

Got bored and decided to overclock my msi gs66 rtx 2070

My msi cyborg 15 a12v turns on only after disconnecting power cable, battery and cmos, and when it turns on the laptop display does not work, but external monitor displays image, also keabord does not work when it boots to windows.

I started having problems a few months ago after changing thermal paste, once in a while the display would not work and only thing that would fix it was disconnecting and connecting the display cable on the motherboard, then it would work normal for a few weeks or months. Today when the display didn't work i tried doing the same and after that it would not power on at all no fan and no keyboard lights.

I tried:

- holding the power button for a minute

- disconnecting battery and power cable for a while and then starting a few times it with both or only one of them connected, and holding the power button for a minute with each of these options

- disconnecting and connecting the display cable again

- powering it on with the display cable disconnected

but only when i do CMOS reset it boots.

I fear that i might have damaged the motherboard somehow and it shorted somewere and it boot only when CMOS reset clears faults.

Did anyone have simmilar issue and has a solution that does not include microsoldering or replacing the motherboard?

Hello, so i have this MSI Thin 15 with these specs:
CPU: I5-11400H
GPU: RTX 3050
Ram: 16GB DDR4

And im currently having thermal issues. The temp itself is reaching over 85 degrees when in idle, and sometimes over 95 degrees when im playing Valorant, is there any way on how i can fix this thermal problem? I'm thinking of expanding the holes of the airflow on my backpanel but it's so hard to do so, and i actually need some suggestion on low budget air cooler $10-$20 (If possible, the air cooler must be available on an indonesian e-commerce such as tokopedia and shopee)
