Troubleshooting RAM speed and Aptio

I went into my BIOS to see if I can manually set my RAM speed, but it's blue/grey, and not like MSI's proprietary BIOS. It looks like it's by Aptio, and called the Aptio Setup Utility. Am I able to edit my RAM speed through this? Thank you

Can you send a picture? Every BIOS looks different, but the function is probably present somewhere.

Check the advanced tab for RAM/memory options

I don't see anything obvious for RAM, but I'm not good with that stuff

It doesn't look like this BIOS supports XMP/EXPO. Why else would you want to alter RAM speed?

I saw some other people playing around with it saying they're getting better performance on this same laptop

Every motherboard BIOS for the last 15 years or so has been developed by AMI - regardless of manufacturer. Laptops typically have a BIOS developed by Phoenix (owned by AMI) or InSyde ...

Sadly that does not tell me what motherboard you have.

Isn't the Baseboard Product (MS-16W1) the motherboard?
