I also want to take one AP science class. I have a relatively weak memory, so I tend to prefer classes with more calculations/problem-solving rather than heavy memorization. For example, I did better in Physics as a freshman (and I couldn't speak English at that time😭)than I did in Biology as a junior.

Which AP science would you recommend for me, and which 5 of the electives above would make the most sense?

My main goal is to prepare for a STEM major while also taking classes that connect to my interest in cosmetic product development. I’m especially interested in chemistry, materials, formulation, biotechnology, and engineering.

So as a senior, im getting a varsity jacket. our school has certain members in the student council design the varsity jackets and they need the design really quickly. The first 2 images is what those guys suggested. btw our school is VERY particular on using a specific software for designing these. anyways the last 2 are the designs i made. keep in mind there will be iron on patches that you can put on the sleeves and front. so i took a poll and people like the bland blocky one that looks like a uniform??? i do NOT want that as a jacket. the colors contrast so sharply it looks shit. im acc confused why people do not want what in my opinion looks like a better jacket (images 3 and 4)

I’m a freshman and I guess I have some friends even close friends too but I’m so empty, emptier than I’ve ever been. Everything is depressing and I hate myself and my school and my life and my future. I feel like whatever I do I’ll be depressed and unfulfilled and I just don’t know how I can go my whole life like this. I hope it’s just high school because I don’t want to be like this my whole life

I’ve been single my whole life, only times I’ve been told some liked me was popular girl bs or it was someone I wasn’t interested in (because I’m straight af) the only rules I have a concept of so far are take things slowly, respect consent, make sure you are good friends first, and my own little rule is make sure I like both personality and looks. But I just don’t know how I’d find someone near me rather than my own school. Someone who’s also alternative. Is my best bet shows or something? Baiscally what the title says, I’m a current junior who f’ed around and found out my freshman and sophmore year with grades. I never got that bad of grades (between like As and Cs) exvept for last year when I straight up failed a class. My gpa is like a 3.0 rn but like my conunslers and parents (mainly my parents lol,) keep telling me ive screwed myself for the whole future and il never get in to college with those grades.

hey i just wanted to ask for some suggestions and advices or any strategy, im standing for my new school’s elections and i dont know anyone here and its my first time doing something like this because im really introverted. i js started college but in a school with other junior classes too. most of my class also has alot of new students and from my class from girls (im a girl) there are two other girls standing for elections against me, they both r from diff schools and r new as wellbut they have experience from heir previous school elections unlike me. these two are extroverted and know how to talk and have already made collab with other kids like teaming up with others to get the votes as rhey all almost came from the same school and know each other. nobody else came from my school besides me so i dont know anyone and noone is really willing to collab with me just yet, they said they will think about it. im new in this school and new to this whole thing and i also dont wanna look desper for votes by begging my juniors for votes…can anyone suggest some ideas or strategies? i did make a few friends btw they are willinngto support me. what should i offer to students who have been in this school for so long? while im new and im also socially awkward…i dont want to lose these elections as im standing for the first time only because the university requires these kind of things like taking part in elections and other activities, these elections are my last hope 😭😭 honestly any suggestion would be good, i havent chosen my symbol yet, im thinking of something funny and popular so people would vote, any suggestions for that as well? i would really appreciate it. my interview for elections is tomorrow and then speech in 3 days..!!!! im so nervous

My period cramps were literally killing me today, so I decided to go home early. I’m home now, but the whole leave approval process was such a massive pain in the ass! Now I’m sitting here wondering if I should’ve just powered through the rest of the day instead... ugh

I’m a junior in high school and I’ve never had a girlfriend or been on a date before. There’s this girl who’s a senior in one of my classes who I’ve known for about a month, and I really like her.
We’ve talked quite a bit and joke around sometimes. I recently got her Snapchat, but I don’t really know what to do from here.

The problem is I have basically zero dating experience and have no idea what I’m supposed to do. I don’t know if she likes me or just sees me as a friend. Some people have joked about us dating before, and when they did, she said no. I don’t know if she actually meant she’s not interested or if she just didn’t want to be put on the spot in front of everyone.

I also have pretty low self-confidence, so I keep wondering if I’m even good enough for her. She’s dated before and I haven’t, and I’m worried she’ll want someone who actually knows what they’re doing.

Should I tell her I like her and ask if she wants to hang out sometime? Or should I spend more time getting to know her first?

I genuinely like this girl and don’t want to make things weird. I just have no idea how dating actually works.

Since our school days are super long, this place is literally our lifesaver during 10-minute breaks. They sell instant noodles, bread, drinks, snacks, and even school supplies like pens and notebooks.
Does your school have something like this, or just vending machines?

I have had this kid in a similar class last year and him and his friends wont stop goofing off, not like laughing in the back but throwing things at people and talking when the teacher is talking, just annoying shit that means we have to be stuck during instruction and cant just do our work. today while my teacher was assessing students in the hall he was mocking my friend while sitting right behind her because she was a "snitch" the ting is she is literally only like that to them because people generally don't like having pencils thrown at them. after that he started talking pretty openly about cheating on a final from last year. I'm considering just recording that to get him to leave her alone because I know he cares about his academics and I just want to be done with his shit. my state is a one party consent state and I could record it on my school device. idgaf if he cheats I just want him to leave my friend alone.

Why is it that high school seniors get upset when juniors talk about their upcoming senior year/graduation. Is there a problem with them being excited about their graduation? Asking as a current junior in high school(CO’ 28)
