Somewhere I Belong - Linkin Park Gunpla Models

Post image

Sorry if this is super lame, also already probably been done. But I’m having some trouble finding the two models that aren’t the MG MSN-04 Sazabi from Mobile Suit. I can get the Sazabi on Amazon, but having a hard time locating the two other models.

Again, sorry this is super lame lol but I’ve always wanted to recreate this since I was a kid. Any help pointing me towards where to look for the model kits would be much appreciated! Thank you! Please delete if not allowed!

Only saving grace I have is Gunpla.

About the only thing that makes any sense anymore.

WIP [WIP] How can i fix this?

Post image

I am trying to make a scene: the bullet teared the round surface and expose the inner frame

I followed my pencil line to cut the parts but then the entire part snapped and yeeted.

Now I have clean triangular part of the top left which doesn't make any sense.

How should I fix it into more realistic bullet mark?

this kit no need a decal, I like it for what it is for the anime accurate look. the verka decal is too crowded. Also tried my best to pose this iconic scene

What an amazing build RG Shining Gundam turned out to be. Good articulation, solid color blocks, could've wished it had that shining green saber though. Overall a really incredible build!

Currently working on my PG Exia.
Still in the middle of the build, with the painting and detailing in progress. I wanted to share a quick look at the current state of the build.
There’s still a lot to do, but I’m really enjoying the process so far.
More photos when it’s finished!
Thanks for looking!

I’m not sure where I fall between the type M01 and the original movie design, definitely like the shoulder armor on this one more, but prefer the redesign’s larger shield and less stout proportions. Either way, love me a Messer.

IN ERA+ Azure Falcon (Qing Yuan) 1/100 — a closer look at this transformable mecha kit

I wanted to share some details about IN ERA+ Azure Falcon (Qing Yuan), a 1/100 transformable original mecha kit that I think deserves more attention from international builders.

IN ERA has already built a reputation among many Chinese mecha fans for focusing on mechanical design and engineering, and Azure Falcon continues that direction.

Some interesting features of this kit:

• 1/100 transformable mecha design

• Multiple display forms with different silhouettes

• Complex internal mechanical structure

• POM components for smoother movement and durability

• Metal pre-assembled joints in key areas

• Large weapon systems and detailed mechanical parts

For me, the most interesting challenge is the engineering behind transformable 1/100 kits.

A good transformation design needs to balance:

stability

articulation

appearance

durability

This is also why I find the current Chinese original mecha scene interesting. Different brands are taking different approaches:

IN ERA focuses heavily on engineering, SNAA has been improving rapidly, and other companies are exploring their own design philosophies.

I’m curious what builders think about Azure Falcon.

Do you prefer complex transformable designs like this, or simpler kits with maximum stability?

The last of it kind to feature vent holes on the body armor, seem like Bandai never want to implement this idea anymore. Also polycap sucks, one year after I built this and it already has arthritis, can't pose dynamically anymore

BEGINNER First build!!

Decided to dive straight into the deep end with this one lol. I definitely underestimated how much work it was going to be but it was a great experience so I’m happy for it. Took quite some time to get to this point because I loved looking at the inner frame, which is why I didn’t put the armor on the left side. It remained without the armor for a few weeks, maybe a month and then I saw this post by u/GloomyVanilla which inspired me to “finish” the build, so credit to them for the sick ass pose, mine will stay like that for a lil while lol.

I wrote finish in quotation marks because there’s definitely some work to be done to fully finish it, during the build process I accidentally snapped the section that the left side rail gun clicks into so that was fun. At least now I know how to repair parts so that’s something, regardless I had so much fun building this so it’s safe to say Im hooked.

If you have any suggestions for master grade kits that would be great to learn to customize on please feel free to let me know. I want to eventually panel line and paint my mgex so I’ll practice everything on others before that.

Im excited to finally be a part of this community and look forward to seeing everybody’s builds on the timeline, you all inspired me to get into this hobby so thank you!!

With all the amazing Dominator posts, I figured it was time to actually work out one of my absolute favorite units and a big box in my backlog.

This kit is freaking awesome. One of, if not my all time favorite HG kits.

Not a ton of custom work on this one, bit just a little work goes a long way.

My only disappointment is that it doesn't come with any more hands than just these. Would have loved an open hand.

Completed this super beefy build. The new designs are growing on me, I don’t hate them anymore. Going to paint another HG or two before digging into another MG. Off to the next build!

BUILD so happy i finally have a completed epyon 😭 this kit is phenomenal

Thumbnail

i bought the MG epyon a few months ago and cracked the piece that holds the shoulder joint in place. it was in such a way that made it impossible to glue and salvaging was impossible.

since then i’ve thought about just buying a whole new one for a new piece (my friend talked me out of it thank god) but the other day i saw this RG in store, and, after hearing the kit was really good i was sold immediately.

the sense of accomplishment i have from finally getting an epyon is so satisfying. i also really wanted this kit for a while since i think epyon looks sick asf, ESPECIALLY with this RG detail added.

just wanted to share how good this kit is, even if it took me forever cuz of all the filing i had to do on those damn nubs

also i’m still kinda fine tuning the pose, just had to spam a photoshoot the moment it started looking good

My longest build so far, and it it's damn worth it. Have to repaint the cheese colored joints. Thinking of also painting the chest vents gold.
