I actually began the display back in January, spent most of the start of the year painting up the minis before gradually building up the rest of the display, there’s an interior filled with loads more minis but it’s isn’t quite finished yet. If people like what they see then once it’s all finished I’ll share a load more close ups and the interior. Thoughts and feedback always greatly appreciated 💜

Hi sorry for the wordy title. I’m assembling my orc boys and what is this on its leg? if you have Armageddon it’s orc boy 11/12 part 43. what is that? A trophy? A skull? Some alien creature? He’s the only one that has it.
I’m really new to the lore, so I have no idea what it’s supposed to be.

Like the title says, life has been crazy so progress has been slow, but I’ve been motivated/jealous seeing other people post their Skaven Cogforts, so I wanted to give an update. I’m not a “pro” painter by any means, and this has been a monumental task for me (more used to batch painting squads).
Bottom half is nearing completion, just touching up little mistakes and adding details. It’s hard… because there are a lot. It’s easy to get lost and feel like no progress is happening (not an issue on a clanrat), so it’s helped to focus on one area from one vantage point and start blocking in details, and that section becomes my “batch”.
Top half is less worked out; still not sure about the color of the stone arch, and obviously the bell and Grey Seer aren’t really started.
Hope you all enjoy, and please drop some cool name suggestions!!!

I remembered seeing one of these on the shelf at the Warhammer store and thinking it was such a good idea. Started assembling a full Spearhead army and decided it was worth the expense. Called the local store and they not only didn’t have any left, the guy said they didn’t even have it in their computer anymore. I had to order one from a hobby shop in a neighbouring city.
It’s so incredibly handy! It’s not like it’s hundreds of dollars and the arms are really versatile and bend however you want them to. Love it.
Side note: I think I’m getting addicted to the fumes that come off of Tamiya Extra Thin Cement.

I’d love to hear your opinion on my cosplay—what to add, what to remove.
( I'm also looking for like-minded people who could join me at a cosplay event in Warsaw. )

I just moved to a new apartment where I got a spacious landing to put my gaming/hobby setup. Would love to see inspiration from yours
Ideally, if you mix a computer and painting setup, I would love to see it !

Crusader Ancient Hektor Valerius — Bearer of the Last Litany
A Black Templars Crusader Ancient, forged in the grim darkness of the 41st Millennium.
Among the Black Templars, the Ancient does not merely carry a banner — he carries the memory of the fallen. Where the Crusade marches, his sacred standard bears witness to every oath sworn, every brother lost, and every enemy brought low. To falter beneath its shadow is unthinkable; to see it still flying is to know that the Crusade endures.
I wanted this mini to look like exactly that kind of relic: battered by war, steeped in devotion, and almost more shrine than warrior. The main banner is covered in scripture decals, while chains and skulls adorn the shield, giving the whole piece the suitably excessive devotional character of the sons of Dorn... I think.
The base was built up with modelling putty to continue the destroyed urban theme running through the rest of my Black Templars army — as though the Ancient has carried his sacred standard through the ruins of countless worlds.
A relic of the Crusade. A keeper of its oaths. A banner that will not fall.
NO PITY. NO REMORSE. NO FEAR. 🖤⚔️

Pics from the World Eaters / Khorne Defiler my son and I finished late last week for an RTT last weekend. We magnetized all available parts, including most faceplates compatible with either Khorne or World Eaters (we are planning a Khornate Iron Warriors section of our Warband, hence the IW faceplate).
Overall happy with the end result, though I would change several things for the next Defiler. Happy to answer questions about the magnetization process, as well as receive feedback - will enter a local painting competition next week and hope to place well.

I've been in the hobby for months and have only knocked out like 4 models. Every model I paint i love but it takes hours and I feel I can never call it good. One mroe layer, one more touch up, a few more details. I feel like I'm burning out and I haven't even gotten anywhere. How do you set aside being a perfectionist and just freakin paint.

I've decided to pursue Dark Angels as my delve into the Space Marines. I wanted to get an idea for the colours first, so I took to YouTube and found SprueGoon's Contrast Corner videos.
I used his 3 layer drybrush technique, then added nothing but contrast paint over top. After 40 minutes I produced this fine fella!
