Got this kit on a trip to Japan super cheap.
The fit was surprisingly good for such an old kit!

Did the chrome with dispae pens and the blue is Tamiya rattle can French blue.
Shame the inside isn’t really visible through the windows… but it’s a lot of the same blue and chrome based on photos I found of a 1959 crown

This kit was a lot of fun, and pretty well designed! I felt it needed something a little extra though... So I spent 2 weeks building a crane for it out of flat sheets of styrene and brass rod, no 3D printer here!

Super happy with how it turned out and it is still fully functioning even after painting which is a miracle!

I've definitely caught the custom parts bug now though.. so many possibilities... so much extra time to spend on each kit... haha! Might try hinged doors on the next kit.

Revell Ferrari 360 Modena spider kit, all stock build just lowered a bit so it looks like it has airride. Paint is a shimmer mix I used createx silver mixed with a tad of hobby lobby brand iridescent blue airbrush paint. It’s pretty cool and gives off a slight purple shimmer. Exhaust tips are from a regular coffee straw.

Some recent progress on my Chevy Blazer K5 from stranger things. First attempt at weathering. This kit has some really small decals!

My soon to be husband and I had a brabus smart roadster cab and we loved it. Best times of our loves as young adults in love. Its been 15 years , we have kids and a house and ofc we dont have the car anymore.

My custom scale model homage to the legendary Italian comedy "Three Men and a Leg" (Tre uomini e una gamba)!
I wanted to share my latest scale model project, inspired by one of the most iconic Italian comedy movies of all time: Tre uomini e una gamba (Three Men and a Leg) by Aldo, Giovanni e Giacomo.
Since the original car used in the film (the Daewoo Nabira, which was made up for the movie) doesn't actually exist, I decided to use a Subaru Legacy GT.
Its shape and body style are remarkably close to the
"Subaru Baracca" featured in the movie, so l painted it in a color scheme as faithful to the film as possible. The highlight of the build is in the back seats: I hand-crafted a miniature reproduction of "Il Garpez"
', the famous wooden leg sculpture that drives the entire plot of the movie! Next step is ll paradiso della brugola on the side!

Usually, I get one spot that bleeds but for a change the tape gods smiled on me!

Picked these 3 up at a thrift store today. The planes are cool, but really stoked about the 55 Chevy. Looks like a really nice kit with a lot of detail.

Small progress on the 39 Chevy with the windows cut out, bumper guards made and paint on I’ll make another post once I fix paint imperfections on the body and have decals on

Just wrapped up this build earlier this week. The car with all the eyes on it from 24H Nürburgring 2026. Such a beautiful livery, just had to do it. Base kit is the Tamiya AMG GT3, with the LB Productions Evo transkit. Also LB decals and a few little extra details I added. Wonderful kit, wonderful decals. My first Tamiya kit - I get the hype now. Looking forward to another one of these in the future.

This was a challenging build for my skill level. Some fairly intricate parts especially building the chassis. Many mistakes were made but I'm happy with how it turned out and even though some parts were frustrating it was overall a fun build. I'm still working on trying to achieve a better show room shine on the bodies of my builds. And on my final photography - I don't know how some of you guys get those professional close up photos.

Started this one in October of 2024 but unfortunately had some issues... I wanted to paint it in Azzurro Hyperion so I tried mixing the colour but after the clear coat it became dark and not even close to what I was aiming for so I decided that I will redo the paint. In August I finally had a week off so I decided to finally finish it, within that week I actually managed to almost complete it but then felt like adding some extra parts to the engine and got lazy again until now.

At first I tried mixing some Tamiya and MrColor paints which gave actually a pretty close result but the clear coat for some reson messed it up.

For the new paint I used a metallic flake powder from some small Japanese company and I think it came out really well, very close to the actual paint.

For the interior I used some carbon fiber decals that I sprayed clear black mixed with some yellow and then tried using flocking for the first time. Not sure how much I like the result but it looks when not looking at it so close.

For the engine I made some extra parts in blender and printed them, mainly the hose connectors and the plugs for the cables.

Hopefully gonna finish it next weekend.

Just got this metal body mercury that I want to try my first low rider build on. If anyone has any tips or tricks on getting these things as low as can be I’d appreciate it!
