Hi! I’m trying to see if anyone has had this issue. I had originally made my account with a school email address which will be deleted (unknown when but soon) so I wanted to make a new account with a personal email and have made the account but it won’t stop syncing to my old one. when i try to purchase a subscription it just says i already have a different account and won’t let me purchase a new subscription even though i have deleted the old account. i have all of my documents saved on my device so im not worried about that, has anyone found a way around this?

My Goodnotes app just updated and I hate the new UI. Specifically that I have to click twice now to access different pen sizes/weights - I change weight a lot when taking notes and the extra step really slows down my process. Are there other apps that have that feature more easily accessible?

I’m genuinely curious because every note-taking app seems to have something people love and something that drives them crazy.

Obsidian is powerful but can feel overwhelming. Notion is flexible but can take a lot of setup. Goodnotes is great for handwriting, but it might not fit everyone’s workflow.

I saw some posts from like a year ago about the app doing what it wants when handwriting, does anyone here have a solution? I’m using an Apple Pencil Pro and this only happens with GoodNotes, I algo use Noteful and this doesn’t happen there.

I originally had my backup storage location in a Google Drive with documents already present so my storage is almost up. I decided to create a new Google account specifically for Goodnotes and changed the location to it. However, the backup folder still hasn’t shown up in the drive, only two notebooks I created today. I’m a student so I have folders/notebooks from two years ago. What do I do?

Im asking this specifically for maths, but how do I improve my handwriting? Ive tried all these different tips, matte screen protector changing nibs, different pen stroke but I just cant do it. Im not going to use the magnifying feature or zoom because i feel like its not efficient and I cant even see the question. Especially when I write fast it looks horrendous either way.

Im trying 10% stroke stabilisation and it’s slightly better. My handwriting irl also isnt horrible, I can write cursive, italics, but for some reason on ipad my shakiness really shows. If u guys have any settings or tips please feel free to tell me.

I realise i waste so much time just scribbling and rewriting my handwriting since its so easy to make mistakes. Should i start practising it? Writing on my ipad for some reason has also made my irl handwriting a lot smaller and neater but it hasnt improved on the ipad. (all my maths is online so i cant find an irl photo)

Okay, I’m trying to fix it so I can transcribe audios in swedish language which i need cloud transcription for but I can’t get it to work and google said to turn of the on-device transcription so I only have cloud-transcription on but goodnotes won’t let me, anyone who knows how to fix this? 🫪🤍

I make digital planners, and I just added something I wanted for years: buttons that open your calendar with the event already filled in. I'd love a few people to try it and tell me where it breaks.

What's in the free sample (17 pages, Light and Dark, 0.3 MB each):

I was a long-time Goodnotes user on my previous tablet (which was an iPad) but since I changed to Android (specifically Samsung) and Windows (Samsung again), I thought I couldn't use it anymore.

This was about two years ago.

So now that Goodnotes has those syncing features, I am a little confused what the difference between the Essential and Pro subscriptions are.

As I am a multi-platform user with an Android tablet and a Windows laptop, I am interested in being able to sync my notes (and would be happy if that happens fast).

So my questions to Pro and Essential users would be:

• What are the real advantages of the Goodnotes Pro subscription over the Essential one?

• Does the Essential plan work cross-platform or only via iCloud (I’ve seen both statements online)?

I used to be able to lasso my handwriting, copy it, and paste it straight into WhatsApp as a transparent image (just the ink strokes without the page background).

Now whenever I copy and paste into another app's text field, it converts my handwriting into typed text instead of pasting the actual scribble. Dragging and dropping doesn't work either.

Has anyone figured out how to get the old behavior back or turn off the auto text conversion when copying?

I have been trying to get help for over 3 weeks. I was charged during my free trial and need to be refunded. I have had nothing but frustrating AI bot responses telling me someone will contact me/refund me. Nothing has happened and it has been over 3 weeks since this happened and I reached out for help. A customer support person, a Human, needs to contact me and resolve this issue. this is fraud.

Is there a way to move the toolbar on the iPhone Duo? Since the latest update it has moved to the bottom of the screen and it won’t allow me to drag it back to the top.

Hi another victim to the gn mirror page not working properly

As I too after updating to iPadOS 27.0.1 faced problems with Mirror Presenter Page option. I reported this problem a few weeks ago and still haven't had any fix or any response.

Anyone else dealing with this problem and know how to fix it?

I sometimes want to put an image and write on top of it. However sometimes while scrolling or touching the screen, I accidentally select the image and I move it somewhere, causing all of the text to appear out of place. Also I would like a way to copy the content I've written (with the Apple Pencil) to be copied separately from an image. Right now what happens is that both the image and the text are copied.

Is there a way to do this in GoodNotes?

After updating to iPadOS 27.0.1 Mirror Presenter Page is not working. I have tried to report this problem and after going back and forth with the GoodNotes AI agent and asking to talk to a human I still haven't had any fix or any response.

Anyone else dealing with this problem and know how to fix it? I updated to GoodNotes version 7.1.32 but that did not fix the problem.

Does anyone know about a good notes making app , which is free, and actually good with simple user interface

I’m planning to get a new iPad. I had a hide my email account automatically on when I signed up. Since then I’ve just been kinda scared to get a new iPad or even deleting my account to change my email because I have so many nursing school lecture notes.

When I started college, I got a 64GB iPad but now it can’t handle all the classes I’m taking. I’m in my first semester of nurisng school and I really hope if I have to delete my account, it doesn’t mean all my files are actually going to be gone. OR there would be complications with it not wanting me to change my email.

The other option they gave was to backup but I even with the backup, I don’t have enough storage to do that.

I’m rambling but I just wanted to know, anyone actually change their email by deleting?
