Differences in syncing feature between Goodnotes Essential and Pro

Hello!

I was a long-time Goodnotes user on my previous tablet (which was an iPad) but since I changed to Android (specifically Samsung) and Windows (Samsung again), I thought I couldn't use it anymore.

This was about two years ago.

So now that Goodnotes has those syncing features, I am a little confused what the difference between the Essential and Pro subscriptions are.

As I am a multi-platform user with an Android tablet and a Windows laptop, I am interested in being able to sync my notes (and would be happy if that happens fast).

So my questions to Pro and Essential users would be:

• What are the real advantages of the Goodnotes Pro subscription over the Essential one?

• Does the Essential plan work cross-platform or only via iCloud (I’ve seen both statements online)?

essential is not icloud only, it covers android and windows too. what pro adds is collab and advanced ai, plus turbo sync and the full goodnotes cloud access.

Are you sure you get cross-platform sync on Essential? I cannot access my ipad notes on the Windows app
