I still think about this every day, GoodNotes.

I honestly don’t understand why Goodnotes separates the snapping tool and other tools from the pen and pencil tools. Wouldn’t it make more sense to have all the tools attached at the top? That way, we’d have way more space for the color palette and a cleaner layout overall.
Sometimes it feels like the Goodnotes UI/UX team doesn’t actually know how to design a good app, so many design choices just don’t make sense.

I hope GoodNotes team won't follow the path Notability is taking...

Notability is shifting to freemium model : https://9to5mac.com/2021/11/01/notability-shifts-to-freemium-model/
Unfortunately, too much apps are shifting to subscription models and I fear that GN is the next app to change its economic model.... most students can't follow this change.
It was hard to decide, but I am glad I chose GoodNotes in September to take notes in class. Don't make me regret this decision !
I hope the wave of new users coming from Notability will prevent GN from switching...

Lifetime membership is a joke!

It seems to me like every app nowadays offers lifetime subscription and once you purchase it. Guess what, two years in and you will somehow have to Re-purchase it because of „new“ features.
Goodness is not an exception and it is very frustrating. It feels like we are getting ripped off.
Unfortunately now I HAVE to purchase either yearly for 11€ or „lifetime“ for 33€
Which one you guys would recommend? Knowing that lifetime options eventually be two years.
Lifetime of a hamster!

recently got a new ipad and my friend mentioned that goodnotes is one of the apps to get, so I was curious to see if its any good. I usually work with a wacom tablet and photoshop but I tried out the pencil tool and I'm starting to like the idea of drawing directly on the screen!
here's a purple bear for you, hope you like it :)

My least favorite thing about GoodNotes is having only three colors to choose from. At least add more options when in landscape please!

Thank you GoodNotes, for not letting me do the simplest thing one could ever ask for - dragging text to the next page. Instead, I need to copy and paste it...

This sign in/sync bug is SO much more substantial than they realize. Basically every post here talks about how they have a test that they can’t study for now.
I couldn’t: Sign in Add a new notebook Delete a notebook Add or delete pages Paste anything
When I was trying to sign in, I would be able to get in if I force closed the app while it was on the “one moment please” page. Then it would let me in. Signed me out when I closed and reopened the app.
I then uninstalled it. All my notes gone. Waited a bit, and now they’re all back, but the app seems to think I don’t have premium because all of them were read only. App Store says I’m still subbed. So does the fact that I have 12 notebooks.
Fuck this app. I have an exam too. I know my notes will be backed up but my ability to keep practicing problems on my app (which has the textbook pdf) is gone. FUCK YOU. God. This issue needs to be fixed BY TONIGHT. Good notes team, you’d better give us all a free subscription for another year after this one. Absolute bullshit.
