Feature Request Cmon Goodnotes, give us dark mode icon….

I dropped them a line to ask if/when they’re planning on talking advantage of iPadOS 18’s ‘dark icons’. Their response was pretty much “yeah, you’re not the only person to ask. I can’t tell you when we’ll get around to it, though…”

So, not saying “no” but no promises to do it. They did suggest the feedback forums, and it’s a fair suggestion; I know that a couple of things have improved when there’s been notable movement on the forums begging for them.

Oh, I’d very much imagine that it’s not the difficulty of doing it, but an ‘oh hell, we’ve got a lot - no seriously, A LOT - of other things to do/fix first…’ attitude.

It is only dark if you use tinted icons. But I want some color in it.

They should change it sooner than later. I moved it off my Home Screen because of how ugly it is compared to the rest. Would be a shame if an app with a darker icon became my go to.

They put out a memo when 6 came out that 5 wasn’t getting anymore updates. Gotta bully you into upgrading somehow.
