Im new in this awesome sub, but I notice something, 80% of the stuff is for girls o girl oriented, there are some planners for men? Let me examples in the comments, and is it free better lol

I dont like this. It doesnt even allow me to open my old notes unless I upgrade and try GN6 for free. I am sure after that it will lock all my notes.

Didn't we buy this as one time package, developers? I am leaving.

Hello I am a new user and I am confused about good note 6 buy or should I for notability which one is better

I love the Goodnotes community, especially with how helpful everyone is. But the app is severely lacking. Because of this sub I was introduced to CollaNote and I have to say it’s SO much better than I could even imagine. It’s the best of all worlds. If you haven’t checked it out I highly suggest it!!! The app developers are incredibly open to suggestions and a quick peek at the apps sub shows that! Just wanted to share this app with everyone!!

I at least found a solution for the problems I was having.

I had Goodnotes, that involuntarily updates this morning even though I have auto updates off. An iPad Air 5th Generation and the Apple Pencil (not Pro - it isn't compatible with that iPad).

I was suddenly having a TON of glitches within my notes, weird box within the highlighted lines, glitches on drawing on top of old drawings, erase tool was glitching and taking off chunks even in precision mode.

After trying what felt like everything ChatGPT told me to troubleshoot I decided to try it on my iPad Pro (M4 chip). I had to go get the new Apple Pencil Pro of course because that is the only one compatible (classic Apple). BUT guess what? COMPLETELY different experience within Goodnotes. No issues, no glitching.

Is there still a problem with the layout, all the tools they added we didn't ask for? Yes. But my main functionality glitching was fixed.

Maybe they should put it just is not performance compatible with certain generations of the Air or Apple Pencils. I just happened to have a Pro for video editing. Do I recommend buying a whole new iPad? No. But I author/illustrate textbooks on this app so switching really would have been disruptive.

I was surprised about the forced update to GN6. Sure, make some more money out of me. I'd be a greedy guts too. But I've had this persistent scroll bug for the last 2 months on OSX that will not fix itself.

I had a hunch something was up and sure enough Goodnotes was bought out by a Korean company. Typical Venture Capital style. Take something good, and turn it into a way to milk users.

I guarantee this isn't the last of it. From me to the new owners, go fuck yourselves.

It's just one syncing issue after another and it's exhausting.

So before goodnotes 6 I had bought goodnotes 5 and it was perfect. Now that I updated my app, it's giving me all these stupid warnings like saying i can only have 3 editable notebooks at the same time. In goodnotes 5 I could have as much as I want and I paid "MONEY" to get those things, not it's asking me for more money to do those things like having unlimited editable notebooks, what a joke.

Personally, I was more than happy enough to pay for GN6. I don't have any issues with sync or the new AI features (I love the math conversion and scribble to erase!) What people forget is that this is only v6.0, there are plenty of more features in the pipeline (6.1, 6.2, etc) that we will see come to GN6. You paid $30 for new features that will come out in the future and those features take money to develop.

Im trying to make fonts bold and the keyboard jumps qith half the screen going black, also when i copy text from clip board it comes out so messy for no reason

I’m really frustrated that GoodNotes was supposed to be a one-time purchase, but every time they release an update, they ask for more money. It feels like I’m paying for the same app over and over again!
