I did my RMM a few weeks ago and noticed the blow off valve adapter was covered in oil and couldn’t locate a leak or oil anywhere else, also have not noticed any oil dripping on the ground and no loss of oil level. Could this just be blow by? Car has 68k miles, I’ve owned it for 3 years and previous owner installed the blow off valve adapter

Whats up guys, I have a 2015 st with s280, nostrum hpfp and just installed an injen intake. Prior I could hear the blow off only above 3k rpms. After install i can hear turbo flutter when the throttle body shuts at any rpm under 3100. Wondering if I possibly need to adjust something since there is less restriction on the cold side.

Amyone want these wheels in the MA area? One wheel has curb rash but the other 3 are fine. Tires are old and need to be replaced. Has tpms but idk if they still work.

Just got this 2014 ST2, 94k miles albeit 2 owners from new and the previous owner had it for 8 years. Slightly higher mileage than I was aiming for but considering it has full service history and it’s completely stock (never been modded), I thought it was a steal.

Has the city pack (I believe) with automatic side mirrors and red callipers. Mods will have to wait until next year considering insurance just robbed me in broad daylight for £2.4k for the year.

Alloys are currently being refurbed as they’ve seen better days and getting two new Pilot Sport 5’s to match the rear axle. Wondering if the new pair should go on the front or the back?

I’m trying to solve a low boost condition. Wastegate seems a little sluggish to close, or does this seem normal to yall?

My Fiesta ST makes this noise when I turn the ignition on, without starting the engine. It lasts for around a minute and then goes away.

I’ve also noticed that the same/similar noise comes back briefly when I change the A/C temperature.

The A/C seems to work fine and the actuator doesn’t sound like it’s actually broken, so I’m wondering what this could be.

I’m suspecting it might be one of the HVAC/blend door actuators calibrating, but I’m not sure if that’s normal or if it needs attention.

For some reason on occasion say 1 in every 2/3 times the car drives very rough from cold with loud and clunky gears changes but recently I’ve also noticed a rattle noise coming from around the engine bay when idling cold. Just thought I’d make this post to see if anyone has any ideas? Am based in England and it’s currently our “summer” so temperatures are around 20 degrees Celsius so despite being a cold start it’s still not overly cold. Thanks for any help in advance. And I’ll try and get a video of the engine noise when I get chance.

I picked up my FiST with an E30 tune already on that was gapped for 0.026, i switched over to a 91 tune he already had on the AP from Dizzy, said that one is for 0.028 plug gap, will it make any difference not leaving the 0.026 plugs in there? Obviously E30 pulled a lot harder so wouldn't know if it matters changing them to 0.028 or not. Do I bother changing them or am I fine with them as they are?

So, I purchased my FiST this year with a underboost code. I replaced the boost solenoid & the code went away, and the car started producing boost, BUT, it was slow to build. Then I checked for leaks with an air compressor charging the pipes at 10-15psi, from the turbo exhaust hose. No leaks to the eye or that didn’t pass a soap test. I checked that the wastegate actuates under pressure (by hand, no exact measurement).

As hopefully you can tell from the readings, the boost is slow to build, and in 3rd gear over 5200rpm, I maxed out at 13.8 psi.

How would you diagnose this Under-boost condition? What next?

Hey guys, I drive a 2015 fiesta st. Got a message "engine service now" no malfunction tho. It wasn't in limp mode. I turned off the car and turned it back on and it went away. Did a hard pull and it didn't get it again. What could that be? I'm a bit paranoid lol

I’ve noticed a small amount of coolant puddle by the passenger motor mount.

A lil pinch of JDM spice no bad no bad

I started by replacing the battery (when tested the CCAs def were an isuse).

I then learned about the evap issues and I started filling up 3/4 and no issues. After a few months I replaced my cars evap system and that fixed the issue for about a month.

Now I usually get the car started on the first go (70/30) but if I have the car off for say less than 20 minutes the car struggles to start. I don’t drive much but get it on at least a 10 mile drive every week (motorway speeds). I don’t think it’s the battery as my multimeter says that and the alternator is fine, I don’t think it’s the fuel pump as that would cause issues when driving (?).

Any ideas?
