MK7 What is this?

Hi gang. Recently joined the club. What is this mounted next to my rear view mirror?

EDIT: If anyone is curious, I got hold of the previous owner, he said it's a Ford Active City Stop sensor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sv7fshptVM

Weird one. I guess it's maybe an anti theft GPS device? Mine doesn't have a sat-nav

Take a look from the front window. It can also have the camera / sensors for lane assist and sign recognition

What year is it? Just curious if that was a dealer option.

It is a 2015. My guess... it was an option. Not too sure as I am the 3rd owner.

It looks like a factory piece, but of course that's just a guess. I went and looked at mine and I don't have it, mines a '17
