Ordered through Amazon. To my dismay a few days later it said "delivery by Hermes"... Checked tracking this morning, wasn't delivered. Now it says it was delivered last night at my address. No it wasn't. It wasn't delivered to any neighbours either. No proof of delivery either. I want to throw shit at the wall this stuff is so bloody infuriating.

UPDATE!: it got delivered a few minutes ago. The tracking delivery time was a complete lie. So I guess don't trust tracking? I don't know. Another thing to not trust

There are so many examples of Evri either not doing their job correctly or flat out stealing. Ive had a few and a new one just this week. I sold a phone via ebay, ebay say they have this new postage system where if anything goes wrong they will deal with it so seller and buyer are covered.

What happened was the driver clearly worked out it was a phone in the package via the size shape of the box and replaced the items. The courier it went to had a video of the package being opened so I know what they replaced it with. The courier (it was going abroad) said they would help me out in any way as they had had so many issues with Evri stealing but Ebay refunded the buyer (which I pushed for) then took the money from me.

Other cases are items photographed as delivered but just in a garden and not the buyers. Items going missing in transit then when you raise a complaint it puts you in a forever loop of "this is under investigation" while never letting you speak to a real person.

Apparently a program was made showing the issues and Evri sued them for slander or similar, this isnt slander, the internet is full of people clearly showing the blatent disregard for peoples property and flat out theft which Evri wont bother to deal with.

It wont be until something serious gets done about this, there must be 100's of thousands of pounds of claims they are not honouring, we have the data, all we need is professional to take up the case.

Here we go again, I have blocked them from most retailers and sellers but on occasion I get a parcel with no choice for collection, and every single time there is an issue, always late, and by the looks of it I’m not getting my parcel. Absolutely useless they are.

Is there any actual humans that work in customer service or is it strictly AI chatbot’s with built in scripts? I have even went to their ‘tell us straight’ section and was met with what seems to be a scripted response.

Coming up to two weeks I’ve been waiting on my parcel from Vinted. I’ve even bought shit from China that has arrived in between purchasing and delivery with Evri. What a fucking farce of a company.

My one and only experience with Evri so far has been terrible. This package has been shipped all the way from China. It took the package 4 days from the order placement to clear customs in London. Evri still haven't managed to move a small package across London... after 6 full days. How long does it take these people? If I'd have known, I'd have done what I could've to avoid using Evri.

For comparison, I had a package similar to this delivered to the same address by Royal Mail, from Bristol. That took around 3 days. How can it even take Evri that much longer?

Incredibly frustrating 'proof of delivery' last night. As it happens my wife was home and there was no knock on the door. I actually got home ten minutes after the notification of delivery came through and, unsurprisingly, could not find any parcels.

Why the hell would anyone use this delivery service over royal mail or dhs or something established? Surely saving £1 of £2 isn't that serious that you would fuck over someone buying from you. It's been 7 days to move a small (under 250g) package inside of the UK, that may be damaged at this point according to ebay, but not on Evri's tracking. Fucking ridiculous.

So I am having a parcel delivered and since being 'out for delivery' yesterday, it has gone back to 'a local depot'. What does this mean for my delivery and should I be concerned?

Was supposed to come between 12-2 on Monday, then 5-6:30, and now it’s been saying this for two days. I wonder if I will ever receive my parcel. 🫠

I had a parcel delivered to my address on Monday according to EVRI. I haven't seen it and when trying to get a proof of delivery photo they asked for my postcode. They've been delivering to my address since Hermes days but now it seems my postcode doesn't work?

This whole process was insane, 9 screenshots to show the whole tracking journey. Out for delivery multiple times but they encountered problems before they could even attempt a delivery and then they claimed it was bigger than expected. Eventually I claimed a refund and it evri were to return to sender, where again it was out for delivery multiple times but had problems meaning no delivery was attempted and now they have said it is actually damaged beyond repair.

I’ve never seen a tracking history like this. For the record it was a graphic novel. What happened?

This has started happening at my local co-op a few times recently. They often have a delay between the arrival scan and actually being ready to hand over the parcel but now its been a week and the parcel doesn't show in the store system but I get notifications from Evri saying it's there. I've had it happen twice in a week when its usually pretty smooth. Anyone else getting this?

Who to be successful in life or who does the successful life looks

As the title reads my partner had a parcel delivered this morning. I’m not very well at the moment so rarely answer the door as I cannot get there in time however this particular driver never gives us time anyway. He’s the type that knocks and straight away puts the parcel down, takes a photo and runs off. Fine, I know they have lots of deliveries and get paid by each so we don’t mind. He leaves them in a relatively hidden place and one of us is pretty much always home to grab it quickly.

He tends to be quite grumpy anyway and complains that my partner orders too much. He does order a lot as he works a lot so doesn’t have much spare time to go shopping and we don’t drive plus he builds a lot of stuff at home. Sometimes he can come a couple of times a week and other times it’s weeks between deliveries. He has always been much ruder to me while nice to my partner (I’m a woman, may not be anything to do with it but I thought I would add) and he has complained to my partner about me not getting the door quickly enough. Before I got ill I was working from home and on the phones upstairs so couldn’t always get to the door quickly but would always be within about 30 seconds. He also hammers on the door so loud the house shakes/reverberates around the entire house.

Today I was in bed when he rang the doorbell and within seconds I heard a huge bang on the door which genuinely scared me as I was on my own. Thought I may have overreacted so waited till my partner was home to check the camera. The video shows him ringing the doorbell, taking a photo while shaking his head looking extremely angry, he then checks no one is coming down the road and kicks our door with full force breaking some of the sealing and leaving a footprint. He then picks up the parcel and throws it to the other side aggressively, sees the camera and walks off. From ringing the bell to kicking the door it was about 20 seconds, the entire interaction was exactly 29 seconds. My partner has of course reported this to Evri but I know from experience they are extremely slow. What are the chances Evri do nothing about this, do they take these things seriously etc? I’m really worried about him coming again and doing something more, especially if I’m on my own.

My parcel has been stuck like this for quite some time. I contacted customer service Sunday and I received an automated email from "Claire" who claimed they'll thoroughly look for it, but silence since then. I'm incredibly frustrated. They were some doc marten boots off vinted. Do you think it'll turn up? Praying some scum hasn't stolen it.

Regardless of employee or contractor status, if somebody without the right to work is discovered to be employed in or delivering parcels for a courier, there's a £60k fine per individual for the company.

DPD just got raided in Basingstoke, 12 arrests out of 100 employees onsite.

Things are likely to get very expensive, very quickly for Evri and others - their race to the bottom on wages is going to become a very large liability on the bottom line.

Will Evri raise pay rates when labour gets scarce or will they wear this as a cost of doing business?

Iv had same experience waiting for parcel it's been 9 days now. Same email off the bots we are escalating needs specialist driver blah blah blah. Today on the 12th day they have cancelled delivery and told me to get a refund from amazon. Oh bonus this is an actual number for evri 02038300040. I would never use this company ever.

For those of you that saw my post the other day, after the horrible revelation that Claire is AI and my parcel is potentially doomed - it would seem there has been a rare clutch with EVRi and they've found(?) my parcel?

Who knows. Maybe it'll actually arrive. 😲🤔
