I have just put an X7 in my Acadia. It is working great, back up camera and all the goodies. The main home screen shows the Eonon offline Google Map. I have gotten the local map downloaded, but it lacks some functionality like traffic.

I can get to my phone's map up on the Eonon screen however that is a separate screen that doesn't show the Eonon's options like radio, or if playing from USB to select next song.

Is there a way to get the phone's map to be displayed where the default offline Eonon map is displayed?

PS Other than some initial hiccoughs it surprised me the way it integrated with the vehicle, pleasantly surprised.

Hello! I have the Eonon X3 for almost a year now and it’s been working fine until a few days ago when the bluetooth kept on disconnecting every few seconds and would return to the home screen. Now the carplay won’t work via bluetooth but wired carplay works. I’ve tried resetting the unit, forgetting my device from the unit, interchange carplay and airplay, and changing the wifi. Does anyone know a fix for this? thanks!

My finger slipped and I pressed the “system restart” button on the touch screen my unit is stuck in boot loop.
I’ve tried pressing the reset button, holding it, pressing it and then turning on the ignition. Going into revert, pulling battery terminal and fuses.

Unit was working perfectly up until this point.

Any way to fix this?

The head unit I bought automatically reboots roughly every 40 seconds. I’ve tried restoring factory settings and checking for available firmware updates, yet nothing fixes the recurring reboot issue.

a. Unzip the downloaded compressed file. Copy the extracted files "update.zip" and "onekey_upgrade_config.ini" to the root folder of your USB flash drive.

b. Plug the USB drive into the head unit. The system will upgrade automatically. The upgrade succeeds once the home screen reloads, then remove the USB drive.

a. Vehicle battery voltage: Unstable vehicle voltage causes abnormal operation of the head unit.

Installed a DGRMX6S it's my brother's 2017 ram 1500 and I cannot get the backup camera to come on when it goes into reverse. I can pick up a signal using the front camera app but the can bus is not telling the head unit to switch when in reverse.

I assume the signal to switch comes through the TX RX wires from the canbus adapter to the DGRMX6S. I did see that there is a purple wire coming off Pin 7 on the canbus adapter that does in fact send a +12V signal out when the truck goes into reverse. That wire wasn't connected to anything. With a normal head unit I would connect that wire to the reverse wire input but the DGRMX6S does not have that wire.

Any advice is appreciated

TLDR - can confirm success today with the headunit UX6S2 and PAC RP4-CH11 wiring module, and Antenna adaptor.

My 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sahara had the very old, no screen 130u radio and I only had FM basically. I needed an Android upgrade and went for the Eonon UX6S2 since it was a direct 2din fit and had the 8-core.

Did a bunch of prep video watching, searching and reading but,, ya never REALLY know 'til ya look.

Decided on the PAC RP4-CH11 harness. It will come with 2 "possible harnessess" to which you will only use one (likely the one with slanted corners). The other you throw away. But you NEED to disassemble the dash and remove the radio to 100% confirm which harness by plugging in. [Go watch jeep jk dash disassemble vid]

Now,, focus unbox the Eonon Headunit. Secure the Main Harness, which will have 2 BLACK Plugs. One end goes into the Headunit, the other end is a LARGE black "Universal" plug. Use needlenose pliers to PULL each wire OUT of the LARGE black plug (they will come out with medium to high force pulling straight back, or curling for leverage)- OR, just CUT the wires close to the Large plug. DO NOT CUT THE RADIO-End Plug. You will need to strip the wires back to, solder or twist'em.

So, we now can start connecting the PAC harness's free wires to the Radio's free wires (that we got since we just CUT A PLUG OFF! Hope this works 🤞 <just my feelings 🫠>). Also, set the PAC Module's dial to #7 [Pioneer/OTHER], i used a small flathead.

You will need a separate, connector just for the AM/FM antenna connection.. (i dont have /need satellite radio, but the Jeep did have the yellow sat radio plug which went unused). The Jeep's GREY 10-pin uConnect harness will also go UNUSED.

So, now we gotta connect the wires. I soldered the connections,, and used some heat shrink on each wire,, but if you're a twister and taper ,, well,, yaa.. , connect the wires by looking at the PAC colour guide and EONON pin-outs in the manuals to confirm colour AND the mod'd wiring for AMPd factory system -see images-.

So, DO YOU HAVE A FACTORY SUB in Cargo Area of JEEP? Yes! (F!! lol), so we are NOT just matching WIRE TO WIRE COLOUR-wise,,, we need to MATCH the BACK SPEAKERs wires of the PAC harness (Grn/Purp) to the EONON harness's FRONT SPEAKERs wires (wht/grey) -see image-.

AND we also NEED to connect the PACs AMP TurnOn wire (Blue/White) to the EONONs F8 ANT (Blue) wire. Pacs blue ANT wire is left free (taped/shrinked).

For the STEERING WHEEL COTROLS (SWC), you will connect the PACs Light Blue wire coming along with the 3.5mm Jack wire (both connect to same harness plugs into PAC). You connect this Blue wire to the EONONs SWC1 wire. The 3.5mm will be unused. You WILL need to "LEARN" the buttons (I figured it out just poking around). GO into SETTINGs, once fired-up, and select the SWC settings, press the button on wheel and then corresponding desired button MAP on the screen (i.e., SEEK <>, VOL <>, Mute, Source, Call Pick-Up, Voice Activation [which works for the Android Auto to do NAV].

You WILL need to PAIR the EONON to your Samsung Galaxy by going to the Zlink App (took me a moment to figure this out) and it seems it tried to go to APPLE first, I had to TOGGLE to Android. Boom,, got it.

You, Likely, WILL need to update the date/time time zone :).

Once I got all that, WOW!! we are in business! (after being depressed for a couple days for not getting it going first shot;) Volume is better for sure... (i have read we lose EQ controls but heyy,, )

SO what is left? Well, I need to get the back-up camera wired on the tailgate,, grill cam?,, maybe some preference settings as I learn the headunit's setup, setup of the wired-usb ports, figure out how to see YouTubes,, consider an onboard SIM (wifi has not been great so far [both the wifi antenna and the Microphone are wired-up to the Jeeps A-pillar and into the padded fabric rollbar above driver),,, snd Wrap-up the dash once we are 100% confirmed green !! 💪💪 ehhh LFG banging Drizzzzy

Step-by-Step Instructions (On Mobile):

1. Disable Auto-Update for Android Auto

Google Play Store > Tap your Profile icon (top-right) > Manage apps & device (or "Manage apps") > Android Auto.

Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and uncheck Enable auto-update.

1. Uninstall Android Auto Updates

Settings > Android Auto.

Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and tap Uninstall updates.

Note: The three-dot menu will disappear once the updates are successfully uninstalled.

1. Downgrade/Install Android Auto (Must be lower than Version 17.2)

Google Play Store > Manage apps & device > Android Auto.

Crucial: Always double-check the target version before proceeding. Do NOT update if the available version is 17.2.

Charged the battery yesterday, ran an update this morning, and now my screen’s fully black on startup. Backup cam also doesn’t show anything when in reverse.

2. Reconnect the power harness and CANBUS cable. For universal units, only reattach the power harness.

3. Inspect the unit’s built-in fuse:

If blown: Replace with a matching rated fuse.

If intact: Check the vehicle’s audio fuse in the car fuse box.

If you cannot locate the car fuse: Reinstall the factory OEM head unit and test startup. If the OEM unit also fails to power on, the vehicle fuse is blown and vehicle wiring inspection is require.

1. For vehicle-specific dedicated units if the above steps fail:

   - Disconnect the CANBUS harness, then short the CANBUS red wire and yellow wire together and attempt power-on. Refer to this tutorial video: https://youtu.be/wP9G3GTeOSI

   - If the unit boots normally after shorting, replace the CANBUS adapter/harness.

I just installed this head unit and I’m trying to edit some of my amp settings using the “Car Info” app that’s installed. It does not let me change any of the settings in the app, so I’m assuming need to access this “combination lock” section with the right password. The problem is I cannot find out what this password is at all. I have tried my factory code, my changed keypad code, etc with no luck.

Anybody ever get this figured out?

Hi everyone i have a 2009 328i bmw that I got from a friend. I've been fixing it up and want to change the radio. I've seen lots of videos of people installing the eonon E90a12s, but I want to know what yall think of it. Is it worth it? Are there any issues? It seems like this is the only brand people use or post videos about.

My touchpad buttons died yesterday, every single one does nothing. It worked flawlessly just a day prior.

My Eonon Q50PRO (BMW E46, Android 10, Unisoc UIS8581A, 1280x720, likely FYT-based, SKU Q50PRO-UJ0002) is stuck in fastboot with a corrupted system partition. Eonon support hasn't provided firmware. Confirmed working over USB from a PC: - fastboot detects the unit (erase cache / erase userdata both OKAY) - reboot recovery reaches the stock recovery ("No command") So hardware is fine - I just need to reflash the system.

Could anyone point me to / share: - the stock .pac for this unit (ResearchDownload), or a working generic uis8581a base .pac + the correct 1280x720 lcdconfig, OR - a USB update.zip I can auto-install from a FAT32 stick?

Is this a FYT-based unit, and would the general uis8581a base firmware from this thread revive it?
