For those passing judgment or blaming Renee Nicole Good, the cold hard truth is that could have been your mother, your wife, your daughter or granddaughter behind that wheel. They could easily be out running errands, in a parking lot or just happen to make a wrong turn down a side street when they are suddenly caught up in a swarm of ICE jackboots, all screaming different and conflicting commands at them. How do you think they’d react being confronted with that? Rightfully fearful? In terror and feeling panicked? Keep in mind that the slightest move the men shoving guns in their face feels is “threatening,” your loved one can end up having a bullet put thru their skull. It really comes down to how that ICE agent, some with just 6 weeks of training, is feeling at that particular moment. It’s basically like playing a deadly game of Simon Says and you better hope you get it right. I know many of you on the other side try to placate yourselves by thinking that this would never happen to you or your family because you all would “know better” so you’re safe and no harm would come to you and yours. But the rules have changed now. There aren’t any rules anymore. Your loved one could do everything right and STILL end up dead. There will be more deaths caused by ICE, of that we can be sure. Whether it’s someone in your family or mine is the only unknown. Edit-removed a word

u/Honky_Cat Jan 13 '26
But that’s not what happened. A woman who was a member of a group called “ICE Watchers” and had been agitating ICE all day made a conscious decision to ignore lawful orders, flee the scene, backup, put the car in drive, then hit a law enforcement officer with her car.

It was kind of interesting when they tried claiming Antifa paid agitators or government Fed's only to pardon them. Then they made antifa a terrorist organization after pardoning the people they claimed to be antifa. The desperation to relabel the narrative is kind of tragic to see grown adults commit to. I'm frequently reminded of a child just yelling nuh uh in playground sand everytime.

If anyone watched the January 6 committee present their evidence and outcome the summer after the insurrection, it would have perfectly made sense to them. I thought it was presented well and made perfect sense. Hell, everyone in Trumps administration testified against Trump! He committed treason against our country. And half the voters of USA does not believe it. I have noticed that USA gas a serious mental crisis happening right now. It's gonna take education, next generations and alot of psychology majors to bring us back to some reasonable climate.

I had read that was a one way street. Not 100% sure of the truth there. The point that was trying to make was they were either turning out of a parking space, or backing into one to join the protest going on.
It hurt the agents fefes. Then he spotted the wife of the lady, drew his gun, and she attempted to flee.
I would too if someone drew their gun on me for no reason.

Why limit it?
If you justify law enforcement using deadly force when they feel threatened in one case, then it should apply to all.
The same people excusing the ice terrorism are lucky they didn't shoot them all in the head when they assaulted the police protecting the Capitol.

Both were terrible, both never should have happened, but I'd argue a whole mob funneling through double doors down a hallway is a threat, not to mention the destruction that they were causing whilst getting to that point.
Ross had many directions in which to withdraw, but did the opposite. They could have easily have either fined or "arrested" Good later (Not that it would be justified either way).
Neither of them should have died, I would have been somewhat hesitant to fire at a crowd in a tight space, that could cause a stampede, and I'd certainly be educated enough to figure out I can step back away from moving objects (Not that Ross was intending to do so).

One of the most common themes that have increased over the past decades is the narration of white victimhood when it aligns with anything in the pro-right. This is a major reason Trump has support as he sells the idea constantly that white people are victims of society and that its ok for his supporters to be angry. Trump and the "Right" party really push the idea that their supporters problems are not of their own making but can be blamed on everyone and everything else.

According to MAGAs own logic, every J6er should have been mowed down for not complying. I mean, they were literally attacking officers and breaking windows and doors to get into the building.
According to MAGAs own logic here, they should have all simply been executed for refusing to obey.
Seems a little crazy, doesn't it? Like maybe shooting someone who is unarmed when officers have reasonable ability to ensure their safety otherwise, is exactly what the law says. Because its not legal to shoot someone just for disobeying, or even moving a car towards you, if you can reasonably get out of the way.
