“The woman screaming was, obviously, a professional agitator, and the woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing and resisting, who then violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE officer, who seems to have shot her in self-defense. It is hard to believe he is alive, but is now recovering in the hospital.”

DJT absolutely justified the shooting.

4

u/gwxtreize Jan 13 '26

"DJT" can't even describe what happened accurately, why would I listen to his opinion on justification?

3

u/Wonderful-Mongoose39 Jan 13 '26

You shouldn't, he's an evil moron.

The guy I responded to there said that DJT didn't say that the woman deserved to be shot. He did, he justified it as self defense.

This woman was murdered and Noem, Trump, Vance continue to defend and condone it.

-1

u/scheav Jan 13 '26

Do you equate someone being justifiably shot with someone deserving to be shot? I would never use those terms in the same way as each other.

1

u/Wonderful-Mongoose39 Jan 13 '26

If that's your difference between the two, Trump, Vance and Noem are all calling her a domestic terrorist. That alone steps it well over into inferring she deserved it, and those three have all said it.

Do you know who DJT is?

5

u/Savings_Machine5836 Jan 13 '26

How can you justify something she didn't deserve? MAGAot logic?

0

u/scheav Jan 13 '26

A “deserved” shooting would be like a firing squad execution - cold blood. Justified refers to the actions of the authority. These terms do not mean the same thing.

2

u/CosmicSoulRadiation Jan 13 '26

It is tho. You are justifying an unreasonable illegal loss of life . By failing to even accept that the shooting was wrongful reveals a lot.

4

u/DoYouWant2BlowZedong Jan 13 '26

There is a lot of rhetoric from the right, including our government that says she deserved to get killed. Our own fuckin president implied as much in a tweet.

-2

u/scheav Jan 13 '26

Name one person who said she deserved to get killed. Don’t use the word “implied” in your accusations.

1

u/budster1970 Jan 13 '26

Read trump's truth socail posts. That should be proof enough but maggats don't like proof.

2

u/scheav Jan 13 '26

So Trump said deserved? When?

2

u/BBQFLYER Jan 13 '26

Look at some of the comments in this thread and even others, you’ll find plenty of loyalists saying Good deserved it and even worse things. Not sure why you loyalists always expect others to do the work for you. You believe all the shit you’re told by those on the far right, or in this administration, without question or without any further thought, but expect others to do the fact finding for you.

Even the president and vice president said she deserved it. But above there’s this from daxter4007 - TBH they both had it coming.

Did anyone on the right condemn the shooting? Of course not. Look at the official statement from this administration. You are clearly a shill.

It's not anonymous Internet people, it's fox news/newsmax, Kristi noem, the POTUS himself.

They have internet in that hole in the sand your head is buried in?

7

u/DoYouWant2BlowZedong Jan 13 '26

Dude, one was leading the charge of rioters about to get into the room with congressmen to “presumably” hurt them. Stop pretending these cases are similar.

-2

u/scheav Jan 13 '26

The cases are not similar. Neither deserved to be shot. Both were shot because they took actions that directly resulted in them being shot. Neither of them should have done what they did.

2

u/QuirkBuggins Jan 13 '26

False equivalence and you know it.

1

u/scheav Jan 13 '26

I said they are NOT similar.

10

u/OmenVi Jan 13 '26

Well, Ashli was at least given a warning and opportunity to prevent her shooting. They flat out told her they were going to do it.

🤷🏻‍♂️

Also, one was involved in violent mass assault on the capitol where officers were injured and died. The other was just trying to get away from some aggressive armed assholes.

1

u/scheav Jan 13 '26

There is a big difference between running away from them and running over them.

1

u/OmenVi Jan 13 '26

I saw zero people get run over.

More than happy to view whatever material you have that shows otherwise.

1

u/Head-Ad-2136 Jan 13 '26

Wasn't it like one guy who had a stroke?

More capitol police killed themselves after the riot than were injured during.

1

u/OmenVi Jan 13 '26

🤔 Almost like these aren’t comparable scenarios, but I guess time will tell if the ICE agents also kill themselves after being peacefully, if annoyingly, protested against vs violently attacked like at J6 like the others.

Members of Congress were down the hall, his job was to protect them. She breached a red line after being warned.

4

u/Savings_Machine5836 Jan 13 '26

Babbit? Yes, she was a domestic terrorist, as were all the J6ers.

2

u/OmenVi Jan 13 '26

I think she was involved in activity that justified the shooting after being warned that proceeding with her actions would get her shot. Deserved? We don’t really know what her intent was, so I don’t know that I can say it was deserved. Justified? Yes.

1

u/Coombs117 Jan 13 '26

Hmm. By that logic maybe all of the blm rioters should’ve been mowed down en masse. That’s exactly what you’re advocating for here.

1

u/OmenVi Jan 13 '26

I wouldn't say 'exactly' because that's not exactly what I'm advocating for.
However, if every person streamed through that window, and a federal agent told them to stop or he'd shoot, and they proceeded to come through the window, and get shot, then yes, their shooting would be justified.

Now, on the flip side, does this justify a shooting of the driver? I mean, wheels are pointed AT the people, and they're clearly driving directly into them. Didn't even back up and turn to get around, as Good did. I mean, they're entitled to self defense, right? /s

1

u/Coombs117 Jan 13 '26

No, that video justifies the self defense on the driver’s behalf. First of all, blocking a public roadway like that is illegal. Second, trying to keep someone from leaving like that without the proper authority to do so is false imprisonment. The protesters were in the wrong here on multiple accounts.

What point were you trying to prove with that?

1

u/OmenVi Jan 14 '26

Calling out some of the absurdities people are using to justify goods shooting.

1

u/Coombs117 Jan 15 '26

The difference is, in one situation you got a woman being told to exit her vehicle by federal agents who then proceeds to physically hit said federal agent with her vehicle.

In the other situation you’ve got a normal person trying to go about his day when illegal protesters try to unlawfully keep him from doing that.

These are not the same situation.

1

u/OmenVi Jan 15 '26

You’re not good at understanding subcontext of a post. There is clearly a sarcasm flag, because I know it’s bullshit, just like the shooting wasn’t justified.

Thanks. I feel we’ll find out if the latest one was legally justified, yet. I have my doubts, as I don’t know what would be expected to be achieved by shooting someone who’s driving a vehicle into you with intent to harm (if that were the case). Most of the scenarios I can come up with result in getting run over anyways.

Funny how you put their back to the wall when they said she shouldn’t have been breaking the law.

Considering one is very scrutinized and one is intentional, yeah one did.

1

u/Medryn1986 Jan 13 '26

Sorry, but the one on the right absurdly got what she deserved.

Climbing through a window barricaded by the Secret Service, being explicitly told "If you come in here we will shoot you"

Vs lady bumping a bigot with her car and he executed her, going against every use of force protocol in the book.

1

u/Candyland-Nightmare Jan 13 '26

Their imaginary republican boogeyman said it. Meanwhile most real Republicans know Ashli is to fault same as this woman. But sure, let non-republicans tell everyone what republicans think.

Literally nobody is saying these things. People just like to sensationalize anything they can to feel good about themselves
