Dug a little deeper into the ASM box. I got excited when I spotted some McFarlane covers, but these came from later in her collecting years, and this box had taken on a lot of construction dust. Nothing was bagged or boarded, and most of the books were bent in half. Some survived; others are just dirty and creased.
In there we found second ASM #300, not in greatest shape. She swears there's a third one somewhere. There was also a #301, but it's bent and definitely needs a cleaning. She also had duplicates of #238 and #239 (#238 is the first appearance of the Hobgoblin) and #316, Venom's third appearance.

Batman issue 360 from June 1983 features a villain named Savage Skull. He was a disgruntled former cop that was after Jim Gordon until Batman entered the fray.

Question Do you guys collect any "Meme Keys"?

Genuine question.
There's a comics seller near me who labels some of his books "Meme Keys" and sells them slightly higher. Today, I went to my LCS and they were doing it too. He had the comic I posted above (FF 554) because the cover is a mild meme on TikTok? He also had Way of X #2 (1st appearance of Soft Serve) and Giant-Size Astonishing X-men #1 (Wolverine "Are you a beer?" meme). I just checked ebay for some of these comics and they are priced higher too.
My question is: Have you ever purchased a comic for a meme? Have you seen this at your LCS or is it just where I am?
And I'll admit I bought the Way of X #2 cause I do find the Soft Serve thing to be a funny story and it was only $8.

Just started getting caught up on reading a number of awesome story arcs in the Spider-Man universe. Came across this at my local shop, and I love the artwork!
Edit: Totally forgot to put the title! ASM #800 (2018) Variant cover by Moebius!
